I had a pleasure of staying at the Cape Hotel in Monrovia, Liberia for 3 months, from December 2021 to February 2022. This long stay was facilitated very well, with additional services included in the monthly room rent, discounts in restaurant food and beverages and laundry and service with smile always. From Ghassan Rasamny, who owns the property, Shad Greg, F&B Manager at the restaurant, Teddy, Chris, Zolar in the front office, everyone was welcoming and made the stay great and comfortable. The Sunday buffet lunch is awesome and the food quality and presentation is always great and pleasing. The Covid-19 protocols were always followed and the hotel maintenance is top class. Throughout the stay, I felt at home.

When you arrive to the Cape Hotel, it feels like home away from home. The staff and management are exquisite, professional, helpful and mindful to all travelers. Entering through the gates is a beautiful array of palm trees, a view of the ocean and just great craftsmanship for the hotel. You enter in to see beautiful Liberian paintings and art work all over the hotel. The rooms are spotless and beautifully taken care of. I’m here on missions with a large group and we enjoyed each room equipped with hot water, air conditioning, clean towels, linens, and etc. They also offer cleaning your clothes as a service and free breakfast. Way better than your average continental breakfast. Rooms are average price that you would find in the states. Gym area is awesome, slightly dated but enough to do my regular workouts at home. Plenty of weights, squat rack, elliptical, treadmills and a large tv incredibly useful to watch the news. The pool area is beautiful and tropical. I enjoyed my stay here and I hope you do too!

I was lucky to experience the type of warmth and comfort one could rarely find outside of their own home, at the Cape Hotel, where I stayed for 4 nights that were too short and sweet. Having gotten a bit sick with the flu following my long trip from Addis Ababa to Monrovia, I was already missing home when I got to the hotel. However, after arriving at the Cape, the entire staff were so welcoming and guaranteed my stay was as comfortable as possible. The F&B manager (Greg) was adamant in seeing that I was well cared for and actually made me forget I was away from home at some point, making whatever was available easy for me to access, recommending remedies as a parent would, and making sure I was fed and watered properly. Since our meetings were also held in the Liberty hall there, it was so easy for me to organize everything (which also turned out to be smooth, due to the flexibility of everyone, to accommodate every change in our schedules and plans). I could go on forever stating everything that was excellent for me and my friends during our stay, but let me just add that, the rooms are comfortable, the amenities (gym, pool…) are really good and the restaurant… well, it was exceptional! If you’re going to Monrovia, make sure you stay there and if you have family you’re staying with, make sure you at least try the restaurant (with an amazing terrace btw). I will always associate Monrovia to the warm welcome extended to us while we were at the Cape Hotel!

The Cape was an excellent surprise for me, on every level. The location of the hotel overlooking the beach is magnificent. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the waves through the coconut trees is a joy. But what makes a stay at The Cape unforgettable is the family and friendly atmosphere, despite the importance of the establishment. Ghassan, the charismatic and friendly general manager, ensures smooth operation and this unique state of mind. And this is reflected in all the very high quality services, whether at reception, in the rooms or in the restaurant. . As for the restaurant, managed by the very friendly and sympathetic Greg with legendary hospitality, it does not deviate from the overall spirit of the establishment. The dishes concocted by an inspired chef using excellent products, from the sea and others, are delicious. You have to come there on Sunday to enjoy the brunch full of tasty dishes. We must not forget the magnificent swimming pool, I have rarely seen such a beautiful and large swimming pool in a hotel! Overlooking the sea, and the gym and sauna. Without forgetting the excellent structure for professionals, being there to work or an event must be superb. Unforgettable ! We go there without asking any questions.

The Cape Hotel is a home away from home. I love spending time and lodging in my guests at this Hotel for any occasion. These times and moments consist of the pool, Resturant, the food the cleanness and the ocean view during the noon time. The staffs, security, waitresses and waiters are very kind and polite to their customers which alone is the most comfortable moment I appreciate whenever I decide to getaway. With all these many attributes being provided by the cape hotel, self experience will definitely make a difference based on our individual experiences.

I have been staying at the Cape Hotel since July 2017. I was thrilled to return in May 2022 once my work allowed me to do so given the lifting of Covid protocols. The staff at the Cape Hotel feel like family, making me feel at home and at ease. There are many personal touches and everything the team does in the midst of difficult circumstances is very much appreciated. This includes special meals to flowers in my room to calling me at the airport to ensure I am safe and sound. I can't imagine many hotels in the world offering this level of care or concern. I would not stay anywhere else in Monrovia!

The Cape Hotel is the perfect combination of hospitality, service, amenities and appeal for a stay in Monrovia. The staff is attentive and service oriented. The rooms offer ample comfort and the restaurant is truly a central gathering spot for everyone looking to break bread in an engaging and welcoming atmosphere. Be sure to get a room with the breakfast package. Easily one of the best offerings in the entire city! The variety of the breakfast menu cannot be beat. Also, make note that the Cape Hotel has the absolute best virgin piña colada of any restaurant in area, perhaps in the country. A pool, sauna and gym are all on-site. The ocean views from the pool deck, the restaurant patio and so many other locations in the hotel are IG worthy. This hotel is truly a space of its own in the given surroundings. You'll just have to visit to understand. Thank you to everyone who catered to the requests of my team and I during our stay! The people made the stay such an amazing experience. From local YouTube sensation "Special Man", to Francis, to the cool laid back gents at the front counter, to the housekeeping and restaurant staff, to the manager...again I say, the people made the stay. The fresh, handmade pasta...magnifique.

At the Cape Hotel everyone makes the guests feel welcome, from the cleaners to the owner Mr Ghassan.
It's a very secure place to stay with security 24/7, parking, ATM machine, gym, swimming pool. Nice spacy rooms with AC, power and running water 24/7.
The restaurant serves a variety of Liberian and European food. You have to try the lobster, really delicious. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a wide variety, something for everyone. Enjoy your meal on the large terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean
The staff is excellent and very service minded.
A home away from home and absolutely the best place to stay if you plan to visit Monrovia

After staying at the Cape Hotel, you will call your own house ‘home away from home’. Every time I return I’m greeted with Welcome Home! And it could not be more true.
Every staff member makes you feel like a welcome, celebrated house guest.
The rooms are always clean, the laundry service is top notch and the food never disappoints.
The location makes it great for early morning walks and located close to reputable shops.
This is the only place I would recommend staying when visiting Liberia.

A call or email to the hotel will provide the cost of rooms as there are different rooms with different prices.
Also prices of rooms in hotels change per second based on many factors.
Well I'm hoping that's it's USD170 for a standard room. Of the up market hotels the cape is, for me, the best value. Food is very good here.
You can contact them at the info/reservations address on their website.
I hope this helps.

Yes the rooms have an in room safe. I'm actually in Monrovia staying at The Cape now and I am using the safe in my room. I've never had a problem with security.
