Drove very far to reach the telescopes, only to find the lady doesn't know about them and can't operate them. Her husband was gone and he alone knows about the telescopes. Can't really fault them on this, better call ahead and make sure you book...More

Hakos is in the middle of no where and has the most amazing view of the Gamsberg mountains. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. A must see if you are in the area and don't mind a bit of dirt roads.

We spent there one night and the campsite. Hosts invited us for a very dinner and their home. Evening was full of nice family stories and pictures! :-) We had a very nice stay besides the weather which enable us to see stars :(
