I stayed at the Casa Piccolo with my husband and two sons for one night in July 2019. We had a family room which consisted of two bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was very spacious and was equipped with coffee/tea maker, safe, and TV, but no adapters for the power outlets. We stayed in six other hotels in Namibia and every single one had adapters, most even USB outlets, just this first one didn’t. The place was clean with well-kept grounds. The beds were comfortable and warm water bottles were provided which was nice as it got quite cold at night. The bathroom looked a bit dated, but a nice range of toiletries were provided. The Rooibos soap was lovely! The pool was covered and could not be used, but it was tiny anyway so we probably wouldn’t have bothered. The staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast was good. The hotel is located in Klein-Windhouk just a few minutes’ drive from the city center, though there aren’t many restaurants and shops within walking distance. All in all, the guesthouse is good for a short stay in Windhouk.

The friendly family guest house is perfect for a city visit in Windhoek. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The guest house is located in a quiet and save area. We had breakfast included which was excellent.

Stayed here on 5/21/19 for the third time in four years. Claudia is still the sweet, competent hostess she always is. After spending two weeks in the bush hunting near Kamanjab, it’s nice to have a hot breakfast after a good nights sleep. Claudia called a cab for me and another guest for our trip to the airport , so we were able to split the fare. It’s little things like that which keep me coming back.

We stayed in the hotel before our trip and two days after our trip. It is a beautiful resort, very sunny (just by the predominant color of yellow-orange) and quietly situated. It is run by Claudia and her husband and Claudia is a cheerful and helpful personality. We felt very comfortable in the rooms and also at breakfast. The distance to Joe's Beerhouse is only 5 minutes by taxi.

Came back for my second stay after my first stay in July 2015. Like in previous trip, my stay capped off a great hunting safari in the Kamanjab area. Still a great value, clean pleasant grounds and a tasty breakfast. I’ve already made my reservations for my May 2019 trip. This next trip I’m going to try eating at the Stellenbosch restaurant instead of my old standby, Joe’s Beerhouse.
