We had a spacious suite on the first floor. The mosquito netting was provided in the wardrobe, but we had to put it up ourselves. This could be improved I think. And the lighting in the bathroom was very bad! All the rest we liked a lot, the courtyard with the swimming pool (even if the deck chairs and their...

What I liked : +the nice chill and relaxing environment of the spanish house. +The welcoming staff. +The good food quality in the restaurant What I didn't like: I had reserved a suite for 3 nights. Issues appeared strangely in my room E4 everyday which was unpleasant when all you wish is to relax at night after the daily meetings....

This was a charming place to stay our first night in Senegal. Our flight was quite late, yet the staff were welcoming and helpful. Not only that, I messed up our reservations, yet they were happy to help us figure it out so that all was well. Our room was clean, the bed large. The only thing I would recommend...

The Casa Mara is a well-run attractive small hotel / guest-house located just off Avenue Bourguiba and near to Point-E in Dakar. The rooms are on two floors and are set around an attractive courtyard and its pond fountain and adjacent to the swimming-pool. The rooms are quite spacious (and the bathrooms are large, too), perfectly clean and adequately equipped....

I stayed in Dakar for several days for work, having already been to Senegal several times. The place i usually stay seemed to be in a bit of a quality decline, so I decided to try a new place. I'm glad I did. It's a bit out of the way, and you have to take a taxi to and from...

I have stayed at Casa Mara everytime in Dakar and would not dream of changing. Feels a bit like home. Well maintained, rooms very clean, efficient staff, friendly owner, small pool, away from the downtown hustle and bustle.

I stayed one night at Casa Mara and was absolutely blown away by the perfect property, food and service. My room was beautiful, as was the pool and garden area where bird song and call to prayer provided the soundtrack to sunset. We arrived after lunch and so were not expecting the kitchen to be open, however one of the...

Quite a reasonable price and fairly comfortable, if basic, accommodations. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was decent, and staff were quite helpful. Internet was free and worked fairly consistently. I did not go in the pool but it looked quite nice. The location was a little hard for our driver to find, but it was still fairly central to most things...

Casa Mara is a small hotel more like a guesthouse. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. It has a cosy patio and a clean pool. The staff are friendly but they speak just a few words of english. The breakfast was ok.
