Established in 1998 LAC's Villa prides itself as the first guest house established in Sierra Leone and has just recently had a beautiful facelift! Our establishment boasts newly refurbished ensuite, wifi, air-conditioned rooms, hot water, 24/7 electricity, restaurant&bar that provides good company and great food, a newly built conference centre (150 capacity) and a wedding venue (400 capacity). We are just 2.5km from the heart of Freetown’s city centre and a 15min drive to Lumley Beach within grounds that provide a haven from the hustle and bustle of the city. Freetown was noisy, dusty and chaotic. LAC’s Villa is exactly what it claims. A garden retreat from the heat and the dust. All the staff treated us like family members and did everything they could to help us. We’ll definitely stay here next time we’re in Freetown.

I was visiting Freetown with my husband and we wanted somewhere to stay close to town but in a peaceful setting. Lacs was the perfect location as it is close to the town centre but when you are there you feel like you are deepin the county side. The property was clean, good was nice, staff were very attentive and the WiFi was a bonus so I could do some work. We will definitely return when we next visit.

I was working in the East of Freetown, and therefore was looking for some place closer to the city center, to spare some traffic in the mornings. This guesthouse is an excellent choice for those who do not want to stay in Aberdeen. The rooms are spacious and clean, with hot shower, electricity and highspeed internet. My favourite spot at LACS Villa is the restaurant´s beautiul verandah, with a view on a green garden surrounded by large trees. The food is excellent too, and staff is super friendly, warm-hearted and caring. Every evening, I felt like coming home when coming back to this calm and safe place after a long day of Freetown rush and chaos.
