I was in this hotel for one night in a business trip. The breakfast has nothing special. The room I got was in a building across the street in the first floor, which looks like a basement. The room was quite big, but it had many curtains and as it was in the basement did not get to much sun,...

It's a nice beautiful place, you actually think you are in rural France. I had two issues in general with this place. the WiFi was slow and the breakfast could have been better. Instead of having eggs everyday and no menu, have a variety especially when you are not offering a buffet breakfast. I stayed 3 nights and I got...

Have stayed in this hotel several times, and none has disappointed. It's decor is excellently finished and rooms well furnished. The break fast can get boring after a few days. Staff are very helpful. The Wi-Fi has improved over time and is now adequately fast.

A great little boutique hotel in the heart of the city. Amazing food (order the tilapia in butter sauce), good wifi, great breakfast. Be warned, the rooms do not have an iron or board and there are only two in the entire hotel. Worth a stay and will return.

It had been two incredibly rough days in Kampala that included an attempted break-in at our first hotel. The hotel was way out of our budget but desperate times called for desperate measures...and it was totally worth it. It was as if we weren't even in Kampala. Quiet, serene, wonderful service. Our room was huge and had a small outdoor...

I stayed at Hotel Bougainviller for almost 3 months in early 2015 and loved it. The staff, especially Miriam and Patrick, are incredibly friendly, hospitable and helpful. They made me feel as though I was home. The architecture and layout of the hotel is superb; you walk inside and have no idea you're still in a hectic African city. The...

Charming little place with beautiful rooms (at least the ones I stayed in). Nice restaurant and all round feel of the place is relaxing. I've read some of the other reviews which have complained about TV screens and lack of channels etc. That may be an issue for some but this is certainly a stand out hotel (amongst the more...

Have been using the Hotel for over 4 years. During this time the hotel has been upgraded and is good value for money compard to other hotels in Kampala. Some recent staff changes have improved the service standard. The major problem is the very poor internet access that is just so so slow. It has now become a big problem...

Have stayed there three times for business now and it is a haven in a bustling city - you need to adjust every time you leave the front door as it is truly a haven in a hectic busy noisy chaotic city. The food in the restaurant is fresh and tasty, the location is excellent and the rooms (though expensive...
