What a warm welcome I received from the owners. They made me feel so welcome, I stayed longer than planned and I even returned for the night before my flight to leave Nepal. The staff are great, so friendly and helpful. Always there for you. Good breakfast. Near to Thamel but a 5 minute walk away behind gates and set...

Just outside the hectic Thamel you can find Elbrus home. Perfect for relaxing and a rather quiet place. Has its own garden where you can enjoy your breakfast (juice, eggs, toast, ...) and talk to the so friendly staff. Rooms are clean, beds are good, working wifi, ... All for a cheap price. Only bad thing is that the toilets...

Excellent place to stay, secluded from the the street by a large gate. Staff always out awaiting guests. Breakfast included, the way you like it! The owner is incredibly friendly. Hot showers and wifi 24hrs a day. If I return to Kathmandu i know I'll be returning here! Neil.

Elbrus home is comfortable, quiet and provides airport pick up and a filling breakfast but was relatively more expensive compared to equivalent places in thamel. If you do not mind spending a little more, and prefer to be slightly outside the busier and louder centre of thamel this is the ideal place. We sadly left on a bit of a...

I spent one week there and i would stay there again :)! Room and bathroom are big. The garden is a quiet and peaceful area to rest. Terraces offer nice view on Kathmandu's roofs. Thamel is only 5-10 minutes away by walking. Kehm and his brother are really great and glad to help you if you have any questions!

The manager is really nice and took care of me and my girlfriends short stay. We stayed two nights and then went for a 3-day trek (organized by Elbrus, it was great!) and then one more night back at the hostel. It was a bit cold though, but so was the rest of the city. Wifi wasn't the quickest but...

I chose Elbrus Home based on reviews and it was a great place to stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good and filling and it was nice to enjoy it on one of the many patios, the rooftop, or the garden. Showers were always hot and wifi worked fairly well. No...
