The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The restaurant prepared great tasting food and the environment was relatively quiet and serene for KTM. I stayed here prior to trekking and after I finished the trip I had about 5 hours to wait for my flight. They allowed me to use a room to shower and organize my things prior to...

I found Ganesh Himal hotel perfect for my stay in Kathmandu. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is charming (excellent garden area and rooftop). Very close (<5 min) to main areas of interest (Dunbar Square, Thamel) but not in the middle of the most touristic streets, so there is a quiet and relaxing ambiance. Very highly recommendable.

So much to love about this hotel: friendly staff; tranquil garden with lovely but affordable restaurant; rooms with small details that make it nepali and special (ask for the newer rooms near the road); stunning rooftop with chairs and tables to view the snowy peaks surrounding Kathmandu valley; and free taxi pick up from the airport! We shall be back!

I arrived to hotel in the evening as I had given free pick up from airport by hotel, They take me into a quiet zone passing through crazy traffic and hustle and bustle of Kathamandu.( just 5 minutes walking distance from Thamel) They welcomed me with some choices of welcome drinks, where I chose Nepali tea. Then I was taken...

I don't know what to say, in my past review I would have worshipped the ground it was built on, sadly I can't say that now. I found the hotel owners and staff indifferent to how they were a few years ago, from a cold reception, cold dining room, cold guest rooms be it standard, deluxe or super deluxe. Intermittent...

Dear Sir, Namaste and greetings from the family of Hotel Ganesh Himal. I am sorry that we could not make your stay as expected by you this time. Due to less guests and with few staffs in the Hotel the family atmosphere was less. Hotel Industry in Nepal has been facing difficult time since the earthquake 2015 and things are...

We have been staying here since the end of December and still have not tired of exploring Nepali culture. The staff here have been so helpful in directing us toward interesting places and experiences. The rooms are comfortable and affordable. We recommend a garden facing room and you must try the momo. The restaurant here is fantastic.

We loved that hotel - Welcoming ambiance, helpful and smiling staff, friendly team and clean, cosy and warm room ! The free pick-up airport service first appealed us to choose that place. The location and the team convinced us to come back after our trek to visit Kathmandu. Highly recommended !! Heloise and Clement
