The 3 of us had a great time in this hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room are simple, clean and cheap. The lake is 2 minutes away by walk and the hotel is simply at the best spot in the city.

I stayed at Lake City Hotel for almost a month, over 3 times. I came back every time, mainly because of the price, and the central position. The rooms are really basic, but pretty clean, the rooftop has a good view, even though it could easily get better by a loving hand, so can the garden, around which the Hotel...

We had read good reviews and seen great pictures of the lake/mountain view rooms so we reserved one for 2 nights before we came. We also requested a pick up from the bus station. No one met us at the bus station but as our bus was quite late this didn't really bother us. We made our own way to...

Very nice hotel, clean, silent and a very helpful staff. I want to thank you Ram and the Receptionist Ameeta who was always kind and smiling. The other Reception girl was a bit unenthusiastic. It is located in the main street of the central lakeside. Good value for money.

It has a great stay in Pokhara during my street festival at the end of the year. Quite and peaceful place just inside of the cahotic main road. The rooms are basic, but functional and the courtyard and the terrace are the nice place just to chill a little! Super friendly and helpful the staff! Only the room 101 at...

I stayed in here for one night. Together with some friends we had a room for three persons. The bed for the third person wasn't that comfortable. The room was spacious,[ there are also much smaller rooms available for real budget travellers] but quite expensive. The staff wasn't really friendly. They kept talking in Nepali even tough they noticed you...

Formerly Amrit Guesthouse this hotel is a good place to stay if you want to try and save some money in the expensive town of Pokhara. It is located on the North side of the Lakeside strip and is close to many attractions and nice restaurants if you don't want a long walk home. The beds are hard but for...

Based on the positive reviews here, I decide to stay at Lake City. I stayed one night and moved a block away. The positives: 1) cheap. Paid 550/night for private room, shared bathroom 2) location. its in central area (along with about 100 other hotels) The negatives: 1) We were greeted by a very sour lady who barely could be...

Very good central location in the hub of the touristy area. If you have trouble finding it the locals will know it as Amrit Guest House. The young guy working here was wonderful, full of lots of very helpful information and an absolute asset to the place. The rooms vary a bit, but are basic and clean. The bed was...

The hotel is situated opposite Standard Chartered Bank which has a very reliable ATM for Maestro/Debit cards. If you are using a visa card, I suggest you try looking for the ATMs that will allow you to withdraw more than 10000 rupees. It is also near Camping Chowk which is the central artery into town from 0 (zero)KM, the main...
