Offering "Home from home" attitude to guests. Very basic rooms but enSuite. Friendly and very welcoming family. Father kind and helpful. Mother and daughter are charming. Freedom cafe and bar across the road is a great place to hang out. Can walk to main Lakeside tourist area along the lake bank from Freedom.

After a trek around the Annapurnas, a huge need to relax and chill was necessary. The Bishnu Lodge is the ideal place to feel you like at home. And I recommend the room on the top with super view on the lake. The family Bishnu and his wife were very friendly and thoughtful.

We are attracted to the bigger room with an attached kitchen and second balcony. The view and common areas of the hotel are really lovely. The room was clean and airy however the kitchen was really just the benchtop, which was ok for us as we had our own cooker. The boy who does most of the work around the...

The place is clean and wel maintained. Prices are reasonable. It's located on the northern part of the lake about 1 km from the center. Not the best of locations. The owner Mrs. Bishnu has a complicated attitude. Not always smiling, changing the prices that were told by her husband or daughter, etc. At the end of the day it's...

The Bishnu Lodge is located slightly further out of town than many of the guest houses but it still on the main road so doesn't require climbing any steps to get to. The owner and his wife are lovely - welcoming (but not in the awkward overly-welcoming way) and laid back and will sort any issue that you may have...

The attention and generous treatment I was given by the owner and his family was delightful. I first stayed in June, 2013 and again in November, 2013 following the tragic Super Typhoon Haiyan which destroyed my Philippine home which, on Leyte Island, was in the eye of that dreadfully destructive storm. My last visit was a healing process for me...

I stayed at Bishnu for nearly 3 weeks and felt very sad to leave it. The Subedi family are so kind and humble, they make you feel so at home, and the dad is an amazing cook, do yourself a favour and try his veggie burger! the rooms are clean and affordable and there is a nice chill area upstairs....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night before our trek and then a few nights when we got back. It was a lovely place to come back to - it really felt like home! The family who run the lodge are friendly and smile a lot, they made us feel very welcome. The rooms are simple but clean....
