Dear Brooklands22, Many thanks for your review - yes we are a good 30 minutes outside Pokhara! That is our special charm and 'selling point' as we wish to be a counter-point to the hectic bustle, noice and 'sameness' of the Pokhara Lakeside area. Our...More

Dear SarahJane0488, Many thanks for your kind review. Sadly there are no biodegradable products on available in Nepal and India that offer liquid shampoo or conditioner. Hello Marcus and past guests, Your lodge looks fabulous and I have added you to our must do list. I have some questions about your beautiful fireplace if you have a few moments to answer. I am in the planning stages for a mountain retreat for my family, and I would like to incorporate in indoor, or semi indoor central fireplace in a great room just as you have done. I am curious if you have issues with the room being smoky, and if not, how you deal with that. I am guessing the circular metal ring hanging above is for heat retention more than for guiding the smoke. Marcus if you have an tips for me for planning or construction I would love to hear them. And if any past guests would love to share comments about the fireplace as Shashank has done I would really appreciate it. Thanks very much and we'll see you in the mountains! Todd, from BC Canada.
