The hostel is in the central part of TaiPei and close to the main train/metro station. The rooms are rather small but functional with a very nice shower. The staff is nice and welcoming. The only downside was the breakfast. Stale bread with a selection of low quality jam/peanut butter. You won't get an actual local food experience from that...

Very nice owner and staff, great common room with a bar where you can socialize with the other guests. Very close to the important sights in Taipei including the train station as well as the shops and restaurant area.

One if the few hostels in Taiwanese hostels that comes close to the feeling of hostels in Europe. Good English speaking staff and a nice bar where you can meet lots of other travelers. I ended up staying for 8 days in this hostel instead of the planned 4 days because I likes Taipei and this hostel that much. The...

This was a great spot. I met really cool people and the owner was fantastic. Washer and dryer was a huge benefit, as was the full bar. I would definitely come back! The only downside, really, is that the rooms are a bit tiny.

Lin is the most friendly and obliging host! This hostel is not only very clean and modern but is also very reasonably priced. I first booked the room after being referred to Lin by another great hostel that was full. I have since stayed at TaipeiTaipei Hostel again and now consider it my favourite place in Taipei to stay. Almost...

What a little gem! This hostel is situated close to Taipei Main Station and so makes travelling around the city very easy to do. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms, showers and bathrooms are all spotless. The common area is a good place to sit & chat. I would definitely stay here again.

Well located in the heart of Taipei (10' walk to the trainstation/metro) with sights, shops and restaurant nearby, but still quite, this hostel offers very clean rooms, good bed (each with e-socket and light), small lockers, good and enough bath-rooms (good water-pressure in the showers) and stable and fast wifi. Security is good with magnetic cards or padlock. The staff...

The location of this hostel is excellent, especially if flying to/from Taoyuan airport. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the main station where the bus drops you off, and even though I had a 6am flight on departure, it's a short walk back to the bus station to catch the night bus to the airport. The facilities were great, although...

Stayed at TaipeiTaipei during my stay in Taipei and I had a great time. The hostel has a really homely feel and a lot of the people who stay there are there for a few months, and you get to know them really well. Location is especially good as Nanyang Street is packed with food! The NTU Hospital Subway station...

“Most rooms are in basements so if you're bringing in huge luggages try to book the rooms upstairs, as they are no lifts, only staircase to the basements.”
