The hotel was under renovation, but the conditions were horrible. The room and decor were very old and smelled of oldness. It was also very dusty and dirty. I wouldnt recommend this hotel until their renovations are 100% complete.

The hotel's bathroom is good?. It has a bathtub. You can do a bubble bath for your child, or relax yourself in the tub with hot water in it. The beds aren't hard, and they provide soft, cottony blankets. The pillows look very tall, but when you sleep on it, you fall right through it! Finally, they also provide a...

Thanks God it's under renovation! My room was very old and I must say this,: the sheets were dirty... I was not satisfied at all... A shame. Very far from Asian hospitality that you can expect. Don't worth to stay here again...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in March for one night one weekend trip to Taipei. The hotel itself is huge and quite elegant. The hotel was undergoing renovation during the time of visit, which will hopefully bring this hotel from average to excellent. Location is convenient and walkable within 5 minutes of the nearest MRT. Best parts...

Likes: 1. Room: spacious room, even for the room which only one bed, which I stayed in. 2. Fridge: A fridge in the room. Cold inside the fridge. However, I didn't see a temperature control in the fridge? 3. Safe: A safe in the room. 4. TV: A large TV, with channels in a few languages. 5. Extra complimentary amenities:...

The first impression is in line with the hotel's grand name: the building is huge and monumental, and its tall atrium is undoubtedly impressive. Certainly looks like a 5-star outfit. However, it was wifi only in certain rooms and the toilet lightnings weren't working properly when we checked in. The power sockets were old and much eroded or semi-broken, and...

Excellent location! The airport bus stop is just right in front. Lots of nice restaurants and shops. And the subway station is only about 5 minutes walk away. The room I stayed was newly renovated, but no "paint" smell at all. Very comfy bed and pillows! Check in was very quick and easy. The room was spacy and very clean....

The hotel itself has the possibility of being a 5 star property one day and their service staff are very friendly and helpful when checking in, but the rooms require rennovation (Which they are doing). I booked the hotel through priceline and paid over US$100/night but the interior of the room felt like a cheap motel. When I called in...

Having read the reviews at Tripadvisor, my expectation of this hotel is not high. However, I had a surprise when I arrived. It may look dated on the outside, but the interior is impressive. I stayed in a deluxe room at 8th storey and it looked absolutely new and stylish. Perhaps it had been renovated recently? The room reminded me...

The property is visually aged and is having renovation currently. Despite that, renovation seems to have a relatively small impact on the other guests experience. As this hotel was assigned by a tour group, it has numerous drawbacks in which the hotel lacks compared to other more budget orientated options, and such as free wifi. Moreover, the hotel lobby is...
