Great location very close to everything, room was clean and good quality for the price. The rooftop pool was a nice little bonus, it's a shame we had so little time here to enjoy it! There was a little bit of noise from the road,...More
Hotel was pretty good for the price paid. Had fast WiFi and great air conditioning. View from our window wasn’t appealing but location was great if you enjoy more of a party scene. Was noisy from the street until late hours in the night. The...More
Booked one night at the rikka inn and found the room was lovely, clean and with a big bed. I’ve stayed at dang derm and the D&D and this room was much nicer than both of those. Location great, it’s nearer the end of khao...More
Awesome location on Khaosan Road. Not like your run of the mill cheap hotel, staff were very welcoming and the room was basic but clean and nice. Still fairly noisy but a lot less than some of the places I’ve stayed in Bangkok. Would definitely...More
My friend and I (two girls) are backpacking through Asia and decided on Rikka Inn due to getting a great deal through trip advisor and the fact that it had a pool and was in a perfect location. Rikka Inn lived up to our expectations....More
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

When this happens to us we usually book that night at the hotel that you fly in even though you won't be there til say 230 in the morning, it'll be fine to check in when you get there, someone will be in the night shift. It's nice to go and have a bit of a sleep when you get in that late. Traffic won't be too bad that time of night so I'd say if you fly in by 1230 you would be at the hotel by 230am,possibly 2am if the airport is not too busy. Go downstairs at the airport and get a taxi, you take a ticket from a machine and go to that number marked in the taxi parking area and ask for Khao San Rd and Rikka Inn, tell them it's the burger king end if they don't know the hotel, you'll see the sign up high on the building.
