Staff helpful, in particular with Mr EDISON during my ASQ stay ... Room cleaning and made up 3 times during the 15 days quarantine, the swimming pol area sanitized each time a guest leaves his place after the relaxation time. Relaxation time once a day after negative covid test on day 5. 3 meals a day , enough to eat, but no tea time. Food could be better cooked though or more diversified ... Very helpful in adapting menu for our small baby and she's less than 2 years old .

We used this AQ hotel for the mandatory two weeks quarantine after our return from Europe.
Rooms are fine and spacey, with all necessary equipment and a good wifi.
Staff in reception (although we haven’t met them in person) is very nice and helpful.
During the quarantine hotel provides meals in front of the door. Lunches and dinners are usually nice, selection of breakfasts is for Westerners quite limited - e.g. no dairy.
But it is possible to order delivery of additional food from 7-11 or from elsewhere.
Regarding drinks, hotel provides bottled water.
Governmental rules do not allow guests to leave the room for two weeks (with exception of three PCR tests) nor to clean the room and nor to replace bed sheets.
In a nut shell, although governmental rules requesting even fully vaccinated incomers with a negative PCR test to spend two weeks closed in a hotel room have no sense (unless the whole reason is to support the struggling hotel industry), hotel staff really tries to make it within the given limits as survivable as possible.

All services went smoothly, timely, and efficiently.
The quarantine arrangement with BNH has been well prepared in advance. Systematically Coordination was made through LINE communication mode. Online daily temperature measurements, notification of meals, delivery and coordinating of COVID-19 swab tests and other matters were all done properly. The room is exceptional clean and neat equipped with all facilities. In particular, my special request for an air purifier was provided promptly.

The overall hospitality is treated like a professional world class hotel. I feel comfortably here during 16 days quarantine. Thank you very much for a great team of the Mercure Hotel Sukhumvit 11 and BNH. I wish you all the best on your future success.

Stayed a few nights in Bangkok and chose this hotel, I must say I’m pleasantly surprised.

Arrival and check in to the hotel was very easy, checked in within minutes. I was in a room with Bath tub and walk in shower, it’s was incredibly spacious and offered all the amenities we needed such as tea/coffee, water etc. Would have been nice to have some slippers to go with the complimentary dressing gown.

I stayed with breakfast and all was ok, plenty of options both Asian and Western.

The pool and pool bar was really good, plenty of space and sun-beds. I was worried that based on other reviews it didn’t get enough sunlight but found it had plenty of sun light - maybe because it’s high season now. The lunch on offer from pool bar was plentiful, and a great selection of drinks. Big thanks Moo for his service and friendly attitude, we had great fun sat with him during the day.

Location of the hotel is also very good, there are plenty of restaurants and bars directly outside including two 7Eleven stores within walking distance, and a brilliant local food court not far as well.

Taxis and Tuk Tuks are available outside the hotel and reasonably priced to the main attracts.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and will look at it for my next trip to Bangkok!

ASQ is not a fun experience.
10 days alone in a room without being able to go outdoor for 1 hour once you have a negative PCR test as well as a first vaccine jab done in Europe (Thank you to the Thai government !).
That's why it's great to do your quarantine in a nice hotel like the Mercure.
I was upgraded to a bigger room with bathtub. Food is diverse and quite good (sometimes I would have appreciated having a bit more); you can order from outside.
But what was top-notch is the service. All staff really care about you, they know that it's not that easy and they do everything to make it easier. Very responsive when texting through the Line App, whatever you ask, they will try to satisfy it.
A big big thank you to all the staff at the Mercure, particularly to Khun Mook (on the LIne App ) and to Khun Adison at reception and escorting me to

I picked Mercure as it was in an area of Bangkok that I know well and was extremely pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, the views, the comfort, quality of the food supplied and the friendliness of staff.
Obviously quarantine is not the most exciting basis of a stay in a hotel... and as I write this review I'm on day 14 of my 15 day stay and I'm VERY ready to leave... however the Mercure has surpassed by expectations and has made what could be been an unpleasant experience into a pretty pleasurable one.
The room is large and comfortable, with a good size smart TV. The meals (3 per day) are selected from a pretty extensive menu (Thai and western).
The staff (both over the phone and in person) are extremely friendly and helpful.
Particularly Adison who takes you to and from the relaxation area + COVID tests.
If you're searching for the right place to complete your ASQ or just a centrally lasted hotel - you should consider this one.

I will start by saying I had a privilege room floor 7 at the back of the hotel so I had no issues with noise, it was silent. There is a bar on the ground floor front of the hotel and the music is banging at night so maybe some issues with noise at the front lower floors.

Room - the rooms was excellent, big comfy bed, well laid out, big bathroom, nice shower and plenty of room to hang stuff and lay out the case(s). Very quiet and the building seems well built and soundproofed!

Breakfast - again excellent food service, lovely options with plenty of choice and great service.

Issues - on check in I was not told that we had access to the club facilities, this was not noted on our booking either, this meant I found out the day I left, so completely missed out on there use, this to me dropped it from a possible 5 as up until that point the stay was excellent but to find out you haven't been told of the access you have seems a failure of good customer service.

Excellent service from everyone in Mercure. Check in is done in less than 10mins, everything was prepared and no hassle at all. The executive room we stayed is very spacious and there's a writing table and even a coffee area within the room. Room amenities were all provided and there're 2 shower area. We're impressed by the lobby layout, it's simple and elegant. The lounge has good breakfast variety ( no weed in their menu )and plates were cleared quickly, sanitizing the table well after each diner leaves. We felt very safe and secured within the compounds of the hotel despite the nightlife along the street. We stayed at level 6, loud music was played by the pub nearby till late but we're good with the music, rather than being too silent.

Nana Bts is just walking distance to the hotel. There's eateries, 7/11 convenience store, money changer, massage services and night shopping along the street, very convenient.

We'll definitely return to this hotel during the next visit.

I have stayed at a dozen hotels around the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok over the years but the Mercure on Soi 11 has been my go to hotel for the last few trips.

First of all, it is located along the best stretch of Soi 11, which in my opinion is the best area to be if you are visiting Bangkok for recreation. There are cool bars, clubs and restaurants all up and down the Soi. If you are looking for gogo bars and that sort of thing, Soi 11 is right between Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza and both are about a 10 minute walk, but Soi 11 does not really have any of that scene. Soi 11 is also convenient to Terminal 21 for shopping and the Nana Plaza BTS stop to go to other areas of the city.

The Mercure seems relatively new, the rooms are relatively big, comfortable and well furnished. The bed is comfortable, the wifi is good and easy to use, the TV has international channels. There is an empty mini bar so you can buy drinks at 7-11. Room service is decent, although given that the hotel is right on Soi 11, not really much need for it. The decor in the hotel is a bit modern for my taste, but nothing offensive.

The pool is a good size, clean and the pool bar areas is decent, with places to sit and chill out. The gym is small but is clean and has all the basics. There are two restaurants off the lobby: One an Argentinian steak house that is good but ludicrously expensive. The other, Lilly Fu's, is Asian but they have a good breakfast and a pretty diverse menu. They also have outdoor tables where you can sit right above Soi 11 and chill out and have a few drinks. For a cheaper but great breakfast, best bet is the German Beer House across the road. For a good dinner alternative, Oscar's is right down the street.

In terms of service, the staff is friendly, well trained and speak English. Nothing particularly exceptional. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait at the front desk so perhaps they are a bit understaffed from time to time. I have stayed there 4 or 5 times and never had an issue with housekeeping or the cleanliness of the room.

Given that prices are going up, not sure what the current room rate is but usually when I go up there, it is about USD$125 - $140 per night, which is significantly cheaper than the fancier hotels like the Hyatt Regency and the Sofitel down the street.

All and all, I have not found a mid-range hotel in the Sukhumvit area that is better than the Mercure. I am looking forward to going back!
