I love this place! Perfect for my first solo trip to Bangkok. Extremely clean, well-maintained, and quiet, off the beaten path but just a short walk down to the busy heart of the city. Close to everything! The staff is VERY kind and helpful and...More
This place is very friendly with helpful staff who speak good English and arrange trustworthy transport (which is hard to find!). Clean and well decorated and maintained, the rooms are nice and the air-con and ensuite bathrooms recommended, though cheaper rooms are available.
The hotel is off the main roads which made for a quiet nights rest. The room was very clean as were the bathrooms. Nice hot showers too, which felt great after full days of sightseeing. Staff was very nice and pleasant. We would definitely stay...More
The air conditioning was temperamental, but not as much as the wifi, that was pretty much useless. The building and the garden were very pleasant. Not too happy about being required to leave the room keys when we were out, only to find them on...More
We loved staying here, nice rooms, great WiFi and the ladies who work here are so nice!! It’s close to Khao san road but is still quiet at night which is a plus. The rooms have good air conditioning as well!
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
