I stayed at Udee Bangkok Hostel for 4 nights in November 2015. It's nice and quiet, very clean. The staff are very nice and never pushey. There is a very good information board displaying places of interest, the best way to get there and notes...More
A great stay here for me and the miss. We found it a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Extremely clean, comfortable beds and at a very acceptable rate. Staff friendly and helpful and gave us maps and directions to help us on our way. Great laundry facilities...More
This hostel is nice, its a little far from the city but the skytrain brings you to the river in about 20 minutes. The good part a bout being far from the centre is that the neighbourhood is quite. They have a nice roof terrace...More
I stayed at Udee Bangkok for one night before catching an early flight from Don Mueang airport. The location was perfect for that, the taxi to the airport cost only 140 bhat. The room and the unisex bathrooms were extremely clean and the building was...More
Excellent hostel with crisp white sheets, comfortable beds on solid, quiet bunks. Stayed in a 6 bed dorm and the AC kept it comfortable overnight. The mixed, shared bathroom was so clean! The owner and his partner are so lovely and accommodating. All the staff...More

The owners of the hostel have the best information on getting around so my suggestion is to tell them where you want to go and they will show you the best way. The hostel is a little far from the city center but you can take a cab, tuk tuk, or bus (there's a free bus, I think it was number 3). The free bus is crowded, old, and doesn't have AC but there's also another bus that is much nicer for a nominal fee. Taxi is fairly cheap specially if you are in a group; tuk tuks cannot always be trusted. With either taxi's or tuk tuks, make sure you negotiate the price before getting on. The Skytrain isn't bad either but it reaches limited areas.
