Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rich 8 hostel is amazing accommodation for stay in Bangkok. The price for a dormitory is 315B, but everything was clean, comfortable. Breakfast included the price (from 7-11AM). You can get free chips. The lobby and outside are good for chill. High recommendation for stay in Bangkok.

If you are looking for a hostel in Bangkok then that’s the place to be! Clean, nice staff, free snacks 24/7, free drinking water and all you can possibly ask for in a hostel.
Having to walk barefoot in the hostel, in the beginning is not very pleasant, at least for me, but after seeing how clean everything was and how home-like feeling this gives you, I absolutely enjoyed it!

I was here in December 2019. The rooms and the building is very well maintained. The staff is very helpful. They helped me book all the cabs through Grab as I did not have an internet connection. The common area had good freebies to be consumed. Overall a good stay. Great value for money.

If you're looking to stay near Khao San road and the tourist sites but removed from the seedy aspect, this hostel is a wonderful option.

The hostel is new and very clean and very, very well taken care of with plenty of amenities. Homey and not a party scene at all. Plus the staff were friendly.

I was in a 4 bed dorm and the only one in there on my second night. Really great set up with tons of storage. Comfortable mattress with a privacy curtain and A/C that's not full blast.

Super generous breakfast with eggs, meats, yogurt (!!!), cereal, juice, bananas plus good snacks including bars available 24/7. And you can relax in the dining area or in the lounge space in the entry area. Plenty of places to eat within a few blocks.

The direct 50 Baht bus from Don Muang Airport stops nearby. Near city buses and ferries. For BKK, I did bus plus subway.

We had a great stay at Rich8-hostel. The room was nice and well cleaned. The hostel is new and in a quiet area, only ten minutes away from khaosan road with a lot of food options. The breakfast was decent and the staff was really friendly and helped us with great tips and even gave us a ride to the bus. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others. The price was also really good.

Very good value, v clean, v helpful staff.
Recommend staying here on a budget. It’s also pretty central to the old city, a 15 min walk. The downside is that it’s a little noisy at night, as any noise in communal areas echoes around the building, but it wasn’t a big problem for us.

This was the first time in Bangkok for us. The city was a great experience and Rich8 Hostel is one of the best hostels i've stayed in for years. The people are very kind, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. Would definitely recommend this one!

Especially beds - super comfortable and with clean snow-white bed linen including blanket-cases, which is quite a rarity with budget hotels not to mention hostels. Dorm rooms are small but just 4 beds in each, beds are not shaky and have thick curtains, personal lamp& electric socket and a shelf. Each guest is given electronic key. Spacious air-conditioned dining area downstairs, nice breakfast included. There were some problems with wi-fi, the signal disappeared a few times, but I hope they'll fix that. Staff are very friendly and helpful, 1 girl doesn't speak English which was a bit of an issue but she tried her best to understand me and called some English speaking person on the phone. I ended up staying there 6 days instead of 2 and will definitely come back when I'm in Bkk.
