Praya Palazzo is a stylish 17-room mansion with a rich historical background that offers a unique experience for the discerning travelers. Dating back to the ancient kingdom of Siam, the mansion is situated in the heart of Bangkok on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Ideal for travelers who want to relax while enjoying city life in the oldest part of Bangkok, Praya Palazzo is in walking distance to many historical sites and attractions such as The Grand Palace, The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn), Chinatown, The National Museum, and Kao San Road just to name a few. Praya Palazzo brings back the sense and lifestyle of the King Rama V period, conveying authentic Thai culture through vision, taste, scent, rhyme and touch. We are proud to offer you personalized service with style but not snobbism, casual atmosphere but not neglect, high standards but not stiffness, simplicity and authenticity. We look forward to sharing with you the passion and love that allowed this residence to stand still today.

Well, I can only say good things about the Praya Palazzo. It's beautiful inside and out. It's unique: arrival is across the river by the hotel's own water taxi. The hotel was an actual palace. It's beautiful - the landscaping, the restaurant, the pool area. It has only

We stayed here for 3 nights as the start of our first trip to Thailand. We could not have asked for a better start. The hotel itself is intimate and interesting and the daily trips by boat are truly an added fun bonus but what made the stay for us was the staff. They were happy,

The hotel is only accessible by boat which is fun. The hotel operates their own ferry boat 24x7. The hotel is an old palace which is well maintained. The standout feature is the brilliant service. Hotel staff are friendly and competent and go out of their way to make sure you

How do we get to the pier - which pier? From the airport? Train/Taxi? Many Thanks
Dear SereneScot, Many thanks for your interest in Praya Palazzo. The best way to travel from the two Bangkok international airports Suvarnabhumi and Donmueang to Praya Palazzo is by taxi. You can download/print the Taxi Card from the Contact/Location page of our website, with instructions for the taxi driver in Thai language, together with our phone number. The pier number is N13 on Phra Arthit Road, adjacent to the Navalai Riverside hotel (with a 7-Eleven convenience store at the hotel’s front side). We look forward to having you stay with us. Best regards, Reservation Team Praya Palazzo

Are infants/toddlers less than 2yrs allowed to stay
Dear kumar1st, Thank you for your inquiry, and please allow us to reply as follows. We welcome children of 12 years and above. It’s not that we don’t like younger children, on the contrary, but we position the hotel as a “couples” hotel, for travelers eager to experience peace, tranquility and relaxation. Also, the property has some steep steps, unguarded fish ponds and, more importantly, is located on the banks of the river, all completely safe for adults but little ones could easily have a mishap. In general, when reading the reviews here in TripAdvisor, one notices that our guests specifically value the calm and serene environment of our property, away from the hectic city scene just across the river. Best regards, Reservation Team Praya Palazzo

Dear Phodoh, Travelers whose cell phones don’t work when arriving in Thailand usually buy a prepaid SIM card at the airport from one of the various phone operators having a booth in the arrival area outside customs. The card can be recharged at any 7-11 store so that (emergency) calls can be made at any time during the period of stay in Thailand. In those few instances that Praya Palazzo guests were unable to contact the hotel when arriving at pier N13 on Phra Arthit Road, the taxi driver or pier attendants, pier shop owners or bell staff of the neighboring Navalai hotel have lent a helping hand by making a call to the hotel. Best regards, Reservation Team Praya Palazzo
