The hotel is located in the heart of sukhumvit. It's cheap and the rooms are huge. They have a jacuzzi in the washroom. Service is also nice. Everyone leaves you in peace. I am coming back shortly. :)

I would say this was the best place I have stayed in bangkok. I am a budget traveller and I always stay in hotels around SGD 30-45 per night. I am really amazed by how this hotel managed expectations and also the way they turned a potentially unhappy stay to one that was unforgettable and comfortable. I booked this hotel... More

I decided to stay at this hotel due to its proxiity to the Bangkok Hospital after a surgery. It is very cheap ($26/night) and very basic e.g. no room service. But the room was large, clean and it was quiet. There is a kitchenette and a 7-11 convenience store just outside, not that I want to do any cooking given... More

We loved our stay at The Palm @ 39! The location is great! The rooms are big, with little kitchen space, jacuzzi bathrooms. Highly recommended for good value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a Tuk Tuk courtesy service to the sky train station, easy access in central Bangkok (Central Sukhumvit, Pratunam, Nana, Thonglor, Jatujak, Silom... We actually ended up in this hotel mostly because it was a package with our airplane tickets, so, we were just searching about this particular hotel last minutes before we go. First of all, it is kinda hard to find. Sukhumvit area is very large, yet more than 1 cab drivers said this hotel's area is not even on Sukhumvit... More

Very far from the BTS. But the tuk tuk is there to pick you up from there. During check inn the receptionist gave us a dirty room. And there was smell in the room and lobby. But on request she changed the room. I think I booked a smoking room. But on my mind it was as I would get... More

The Twin Palm @ 39 Hotel is a small boutique property tucked away deep down in one of the streets off Bangkok's Sukhumvit Road. The rooms are budget priced, even by Bangkok standards, starting at around $25 per nite for a standard room. The rooms are basic but clean and the beds comfortable. There is a small kitchenette area, with... More

The stay was overall good. Me and my partner stayed there for 4 nights and the receptionist was attentive and helpful with our needs. we arrived at 1am in the morning and they are kind enough to provide us with a earlier check in timing. That helps a lot especially after a long flight. The room is very spacious and... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
