We stayed at Chilli Bangkok for one night before getting the night train south. We arrived slightly late (after a delayed 13 hour bus journey), and the manager / woman on the front desk was incredibly unwelcoming and rude from the start. She seemed very annoyed that we'd interrupted her dinner to check in, and then barked a few things...

The room was tiny, with barely enough space between the lavatory and the wall for it to be functional. A/C was also fairly poor and, due to huge windows, the room heated up like a greenhouse. The staff were also fairly unobliging, only half paying attention when we were trying to talk to them, instead just watching the TV. The...

Yes, we arrived at night. The alley is dark and the taxi wasnt able to pass trough. But when we enter inside, it was what we expected. Nice decoration, simple and just for rest. It doesnt have elevator. But has most of ameneties that we needed.

Good location within a short distance from Hua Lamphong railway station. If you are coming to Bangkok by train or going to Don Mueang airport by train, it's a good place to stay. It is located in narrow alley, but I had no problem to find it. A good place to enjoy Chinatown. The staff was friendly, check-in and check-out...

I am totally unsatisfied with your service. Before coming to property, we sent email to you and asked for cancellation of our former bookings from one double room and two single rooms into one double room and one twin room. But I am not sure your side or property was deliberate not to cancel my bookings as requirement and ask...

Honestly a really cool building to be stay in. Tons of travelers and they have water, beer, and other amenities to offer you at the front desk which is convenient. However the location is very though to get to. It also really isn't near any of the main attractions of Bangkok. We had a very hard time getting back to...

After having stayed here a couple months back, we decided to return when we passed through bangkok for a couple of days. We were greeted in a very unfriendly manner by the arrogant staff: suddenly prices went up threefold, the rooms has a massive mould and moisture problem and stank (we looked at 2 additional rooms to the room we...

Woke up this morning to find our bed crawling with bed bugs(half of them full of blood) and when we brought it to the staffs attention they did nothing so we asked for our money back for the two coming nights that we booked and they said they would have to call the boss, who said not to give us...

Was staying here three nights when arriving BKK, had made reservation before online for 10€ per night. Room was small but it didnt bother me, worst thing was that air quality was really bad and there was mold over the walls. There was no window or anything in the room, and shower was in same room where you sleep so...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
