We had a Fantastic experience at the Kimpton Malaai, Bangkok Thailand. The food, service and staff were some of the best in class in hotel service. The staff in EVERY area were so attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay so pleasant and relaxing. So many names and difficult to recall. However, a noteworthy mention is Ms. Paii at concierge, she was so sweet and extremely helpful with my daily rendezvous, making transport reservations, nail spa appointments, etc. Our trip culminated with our transfer experience with the help of AE and Pat who were very prompt in getting our luggage loaded into our hired taxi. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back!🙏🏽

Was greeted with a smile at reception. Checkin was smooth for me and received a welcoming drink. I noticed the nice outdoor landscaping too. Stayed in the King premium. The room is modern, clean, spacious with floor to ceiling windows, comfortable bed with huge bathtub and large shower. Lots of closet space with iron and ironing board. Impressed with the design of the Stock Room. Excellent buffet breakfast with western, asian dishes to choose from including juices. Complimentary shuttle service is provided to BTS Chit Lom and Mercury Ville. Just need to book with the Concierge one hour in advance. The gym was very well equipped. Nice swimming pool! had drinks and snacks between 5pm - 6pm by the pool bar. Went upstairs to the rooftop Bar Yard and ordered food and drinks while enjoying the view listening to music. Overall enjoyed my stay very much.

I have stayed at the Kimpton Maa-Lai on many occasions since the last phases of Covid. Each time I have reviewed it favourably. The hotel continues to impress. the sbai sbai atmosphere, the breakfast range of healthy foods, the staff service etc were all fantastic. The hotel has for good reasons ranked consistently number #1 on Trip Advisor out of all hotels in Bangkok. Currently it ranks #2 out of 1213 hotels in Bangkok . Patrick Both, the Manager who I had the pleasure to meet on the latest stay, has done a fantastic job keeping up staff performance and morale; he is regularly seen in the hotel encouraging staff at all levels. He is truly a modern, thoughtful and approachable manager. But my recent stay suggested that the high ranking of the hotel will lead to it becoming a victim of its own success. The hotel had very high occupancy and was crowded on the two separate periods that I stayed in February. Consequently staff service levels across a range of metrics were diminished. You can't blame the staff who coped magnificently with the crowds. Chinese New Year, Songkran, the Christmas period and other festival periods are not good times to visit if you want optimal service, less bedlam at breakfast, unduly delayed room cleaning and uncrowded lifts etc. Frankly, the hotel management should at least increase room prices to reduce occupancy during these common, expected busy periods. More than that, they should increase the average room tariff year-round because the high hotel ranking, service etc justifies a much higher price. Otherwise, I fear that the hotel will become a victim of its own success. On specific matters, the Stockroom continues to produce fine food for guests. In the evening the staff will even prepare special, tailored dishes to order. I was most impressed by "Boss' in the Stockroom during the evenings. He had good knowledge of the wines and advised expertly on food suitable to my special requirements. His dinner service was outstanding. "Mai" in the breakfast service in the Stockroom was superbly organised and helpful. Thank you Mai! .

Recently stayed at Kimpton Bangkok and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. As someone who's traveled to over 50 countries and stayed in countless hotels, I feel like I've seen it all. But Kimpton Bangkok? It’s in a league of its own. First off, the staff were amazing. A big shoutout to Grape (Big THANK YOU Grape), Jade, Liza, and everyone whose names I might not remember. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and genuine care made a huge difference. They truly went above and beyond. The food was another highlight. Had breakfast at Craft Restaurant and their Avocado with Eggs Sandwich was just perfect. Dinner at Stockroom Restaurant was a standout too—the Surf and Turf was the best I’ve ever had. It's clear there's a real commitment to quality and innovation in their kitchens. The suite I stayed in was incredible. Comfortable, luxurious, and designed with every need in mind. It's set a new standard for what I expect from hotel accommodations. Can't wait for my next trip to Bangkok because I know exactly where I'll be staying. Thanks, Kimpton Bangkok, for making my stay so memorable. It wasn't just a visit, it was an experience I'll definitely be coming back for.

It very very comfortable hotel !!! Stay in the heart of city convenient to travel there is a van (shuttle) to pick up and drop off at BTS chitlom every hour. Seemingly the reviews were almost perfect on social media, my friends and I had high expectations of staying at this hotel however it turns out to be utterly disappointing. Perhaps it was due to the rates that I have booked the rooms but this just means that the services highly raved about are purely based on profiles. I book 2 rooms with 5 persons and have specifically requested for a rollaway bed. Checked in at 10.30am and after a long process - was told that none of the rooms are ready which is acceptable since we arrived earlier. Came back to the hotel at 11pm, feeling exhausted, only to find that the rollaway bed was not set up in the room. One of my friends made the call to front desk and was told off rudely that we have requested to remove it and when told to bring it back - the staff's reply was full of annoyance and sighed so loudly over the phone. Later on, we found that there wasn't any towels, dental kits for the 3rd occupant as well and had to wait for them to send it up again causing us to only be able to rest at 1.30am. I can go on and on for the remaining part of our hotel but this is the most upsetting episode. Furthermore, I've spoken to a DM & the guest relations manager on 2 separate occasions and was promised a follow-up on this but I have received none thus far. Pure disappointing, I would have given a 1 star for the service received but the 3 stars are for staffs at CRAFT and in barYARD.
