Even though there was only one night, it was still a memorable stay. After reuniting with family and friends, we feel relaxed. The best of the best are you guys. Thank you for the warm greeting, Khun John and Khun Ted. We are happy to see you both again. For taking care of the meals at Phra Nakhon, we thank Chef Kannikar and Khun Joy. Everything is still fantastic. You both are awesome. We appreciate khun Jeff Culturist's help with pre-arrival and drop-off to the accommodation. We’ve met him before and nice to see you again here at Capella Bangkok. The pool team is still great. This team is highly personalizing and stands out. This is our first time staying this River Premier Suite and never let down. There was only a minor issue when the water ran down the curtain close to the room's balcony. The drink variety during the CINCIN Hour is noticeably better than previously. The best team remains the housekeeping team. We appreciate everything you do, it's the little things that stand out. Breakfast offers a much smaller food portion. On the other hand, it allows us to explore more menus. The reservations team deserves special recognition for arranging this reservation for us so fast and for knowing what we want. The ideal location for our special day, we will be staying here again to celebrate our pre-birthday in early of October’22. see you again

Everything is so cool in cappella . From the first step you enter the hotel , cheerful smile and warm welcome by the receptionist . Then the check in room is so delux and relax , of course after several hours flight , this makes us feel like at home. All the check in executives are enthusiastic and friendly, filled with big smiles on their faces . The most important is the congerige r very informative and helpful , especially the one called Pacman , so cute and professional . Unbelievable, even the ones in cuisine , the manager of the cruise , all r nice n can even remember the names of every guest ! Capella is the only choice in Thailand for us !

I like to travel around the world and i like luxury hotels. The Capella Bangkok is my absolutely favorite. It’s like coming home. The hotel, close to the four seasons is not just very luxury, it’s also the best service and stuff. Very privacy and no no wish remains unfulfilled.

I would probably prefer a firmer mattress, but this was also very comfortable, I don't think I felt as comfortable staying in villa 8 as I did in room 406, I would probably prefer a room over a villa in the future, the staff at the hotel were very nice, the room service cleaned together with the cuts were perfect, I also loved the waffle muffins and everything I ate at the hotel, the flavors were great.

I stayed 2 nights at Capella Bangkok (Apr 8 ~ Apr 10, 2024), and it was fantastic. We love all the people working at Capella Bangkok. I think what makes this place shine is the staff of the Capella rather than the facility itself which is also wonderful with no doubt. Khun Thanya culturist who led us to our room, is so attentive. She has a bright smile and a pleasant voice with kindness. We appreciate Khun Honey's hard work. She gave us a lot of help when we had trouble in the Zara store at ICONSIAM. All the problems were solved smoothly with her phone call. Thank you for the attentive care during Cin Cin hour, Khun Luca and Khun Kem. Khun Kem ran over and brought the cardigan my son left behind at Phra Nakhon while he was very busy. We are so happy with you guys. We joined 'Shake Stir Muddle' cocktail class on Apr 9. Khun Frank a.k.a. Frankenstein of Stella, you are the best mixologist I've ever seen. Very professional and friendly. We had a great great time with you, together with khun Chan culturist. Thank both of you for such a memorable experience. For taking care of the breakfast at Phra Nakhon, we thank all staff for kindness, hard work, and most of all, your smile. The spa and sauna team is so thoughtful and attentive. It was the best sauna I've ever been to. Staff in Auriga is highly personalizing and stands out. Last but not least, we appreciate khun Chan Culturist's help with giving us valuable information about local restaurants, Capella moments, and so on, even before our trip started. He also gave us an unforgettable surprise. When we came back to our room on the night of April 9, there was a framed photo of us for 'Shake Stir Muddle' and a letter. What a pleasant surprise! We were so touched and so happy. Thank you so much for sincerely seeing us off when we left the hotel after checking out. I sincerely hope to see you again next year. We definitely will visit Bangkok again, especially Capella Bangkok. Thank you again to everyone at Capella Bangkok - including those who didn't get to mention it. Thanks to you all, my family was so happy because of you.

First, I am grateful to those who reviewed this hotel ahead of me so will try to pass it forward. My husband and I just spent 5 nights at this superb boutique hotel on the riverfront in Bangkok! We like luxury boutique hotels in general as we find the service to typically be better than large chain hotels, and the Capella was just outstanding in all respects (and we’re pretty picky at this stage). First… THE ROOM: We opted for a room on the 7th floor, which had a superb 180 degree view of the river and city. It was spacious, beautifully laid out and clearly someone put a lot of thought into the design. I loved that anything in the minibar that was not alcoholic was complimentary, and they had stylish bottles of complimentary filtered water everywhere including the bathroom for (I presume) brushing your teeth, although I trusted the tap water at this hotel. We’ve had other hotels want to charge even for extra water bottles, which always make me feel like I’m being nickel and dimed, but not here. At the Capella we felt very pampered with the complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival, fruit, cookies and daily snacks in the room. Lots of juice, a coffee maker, tea and alcohol choices in the room as well. The bed was a king bed and wonderfully comfortable. There is a lovely private balcony for lounging, a separate dressing/closet area, several layers of blinds at the touch of a buttom, a desk area, and plenty of convenient places to plug in your devices. Great lighting, quiet A/C and a new room safe. I understand the hotel is only about 3 years old. I can’t say enough about the bathroom! Other hotels try to be stylish by using unusual designer shower fixtures that are not intuitive, hard to figure out and even harder to set to the right temperature. Here they were stylish but very straightforward and intuitive! After setting to our preferred temp the first time, we just turned on the shower with the touch of a knob; it had a bench, and both a rain showerhead and a handheld type. One of the little important touches is that the water was instantly hot! We know from experience you need to install a circulating pump during construction to make that happen, so the Capella’s designers were really thoughtful in their design. Great but private view of the river from the bathroom as well, a nice tub (we never use the tubs but it looks nice). Great and inconspicuous room cleaning while you’re out and about. I’m sure I’ve forgotten something but those are the highlights. RESTAURANT: Our room included breakfast. The breakfast (and in fact all the meals we had) at the Capella was outstanding as well. After the first morning the staff got to know what we liked, so always had our hot, large cappuchinos ready. There was an enormous buffet with (my favorite) fresh local fruit choices (mangos are in season…yum!), but there was everything. You could get items made to order or choose from a menu of American-ish, Thai, Chinese, or other options. The bakery items looked and tasted fresh and home-made. Basically, we looked forward to breakfast each day. A shout-out to Pim and her staff, as well as of course the Chef, for making breakfast a highlight of each day! SPA: Great massages (ask for Nancy) with attentive staff and a very nice jacuzzi area (separate men/women’s areas). Also a nice pool outside for lounging of doing a few laps—very quiet and peaceful. We say only one small child. I’ll also add that the Concierge was very helpful even before our arrival to select some restaurants and other activities. I usually add any “cons” but in this rare case I can’t think of any. In short, if there was a sixth star to give I would give it. I highly recommend this hotel.

For context, we stayed four nights at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok (best hotel lobby ever), four nights at the Four Seasons Koh Sumui (home of HBO's next "White Lotus"), and only one night at The Capella. We loved all the resorts, however, it's the one night at the Capella that captured my wife's and my heart. I've hesitated to write a review because it's difficult to put into words—more of a feeling, "I love this place, everything about it, and I don't want to leave." It started from the minute our hotel arranged car pulled up to the hotel; it felt like we were greeted by 8 people, whisked to the private check-in area and offered beverages or coffee. The gym is beautiful, the room is stunning and the views are amazing. The food from their downstairs restaurant (we had breakfast and lunch) were probably two of my most favorite meals from our two week Thailand trip. The Four Seasons next door is also beautiful (same owner), but it's massive. The Capella is more intimate, and the GM, John Blanco is the quintessential luxury GM—I'm thinking the GM from the Hotel from "Pretty Women." No ask too big, he was there to please and came through with a quirky request (20 cans of Lime shaving cream I loved because they don't make it in the States). My daughter works for a hospitality-focused private equity group & graduated from the Cornell Hospitality School; I told her I'm taking her to The Capella Bangkok so she can experience the world's best hotel.
