We booked the suite with the spa bath for ourselves and two children. The hotel location was great if you want to experience the authentic side of the city. If you walk around the hotel you can walk down a canal where the residents of Bangkok hang out, prepare fish and eat.

This hotel is about 6 blocks from Khaosan Road so you're close to the night markets, food etc yet you're not on the noisy, crazy busy, Khaosan road. Hotel was very comfortable, nice swimming pools and a good breakfast. Right across the street there are a some good restaurants.

Take a metered taxi from the official queue from the airport. Metered fare should be around 300-400 Baht plus an airport surcharge and any tollways fees.

We had a window that opened. I think if you just ask for that when you book you should be fine

The fastest way is to take a taxi. Metered fare is roughly 160-220 Baht depending on traffic. The hotel can assist you in hailing a taxi from the main road at your convenience.

"The hotel is divided into two: City Wing and Canal Wing. The City Wing is noticeably older and the worse standard offers."
"If you need help with taxi - get one yourself. When I asked for the price at the front desk it was always at least 20% higher"
"Personally I would want a room on the above floors. It keeps the noise level from guests coming and going to a minimum."
"Try to avoid A/C noise. Get a room with window"
"Ask for a room with view of the river. They are much more quiet."
