I enjoyed staying at this hotel in old Bangkok. I had a 2 day layover and chose this hotel as it was the joining point for the Urban Adventures tours I was taking in Bangkok. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was nice...More
This was our second stay at Nouvo City Hotel. A great value quality hotel with very attentive staff. Staff were particularly good with our young son. They made him feel very special by remembering his name and joking around with him. Can barely fault this...More

Thank you for the great review of our hotel! Our team is very glad to have been able to accommodate you and your lovely family by creating a friendly environment. We hope to see you again very soon.
We recently stayed at Nouvo 4 times, in four different rooms over two weeks.

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.

We just asked the hotel reception to order us a taxi to take us there and then pick us up later! I can't remember exactly how much it cost but it wasn't too bad! There are cheaper ways by getting a mini bus but we just saved the hassle and used the reception :) Make sure you agree on a price with the taxi driver before you go :)
