Now it is "Rainforest'' with staff really nice and friendly, room clean, simple and functional (a/c, wi-fi, towels and bed changed at request). If you are not pretencios you dont need more to enjoy a longer time in Bangkok as its cheap and close to skytrain station and nice restaurants.

The only redeeming features about this guesthouse are (a) friendly staff and (b) Skytrain Thong Lor only 5 minutes away (Exit 2). I am at Al-Fatima now, and it's not as bad as the earlier reviews say. In fact, at the prices they charge it's pretty good value. Rooms are clean, the Indian receptionist is nice and helpful. But they told me they are giving it up and there will be a new management in January. Maybe will improve.

Do not stay at this hotel. When we checked in, everything seemed fine and the staff were friendly. However, while my girlfriend was taking a shower, the sink fell off the wall and shattered on the bathroom floor. (My girlfriend hadn't touched it.) We told the hotel about it and they moved us to a different room. At breakfast the... More
