Cheap hotel in very good location. Your paying a cheap price so don't expect luxury. Rooms basic but comfortable, most rooms will not have much of a view. Bathroom with shower was adequate. TV had limited channels but enough for me. Hotel has free Wi-Fi but only available in the lobby. Rate also includes a basic breakfast 2 eggs toast...

i stayed there for 1 night. I have a scary experience here since my friends and i got teased by something and it makes us grow goosebumps. Worst, one of my friend got mark with purplish color on his arm after wake up from that scary night. We check out on that morning and shift to the other nearby hotel....

Basic hotel, positioning perfect for a late night in Silom to Celebrate new year. Area can be considered a little sleazy, but avoid the areas you want to. Hotel is a delightful oasis away from the direct hub bub around. Serviceable rooms and adequate breakfast, but very hospitable hosts

In terms of value for money this is the best hotel I have stayed at in Bangkok. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the amenities (such as a mini-fridge, television, air conditioning, daily cleaning, etc.) one would expect from a mid-range hotel. In addition, the rooms are spacious and kept very clean. This hotel also has a terrific...

I was in Bangkok for just a very short two nights this time so I thought I would try to save a few bucks. I booked the junior suite thinking that this was the best room available. The clerk gave me a standard room with no window. Of course I went right down and suggested this was not acceptable. So...

Very disgusting hotel, location is great but the hotel is not good, facilities are normal, but there was not enought hot water, the stream of water very weak. The hotel is quite clean, Chinese inspiration. But there was a very poor attention from staff, just one elevator where you have to wait for more than 10 minutes and when we arrived at...

A few years ago the Suriwongse Hotel was a total dive, dirty, badly in need of renovation, and most of the people who stayed there are not the sort of people you would like to mix with. But it has changed management and has been renovated, cleaned up, with a new front office and now represents about the best value...

The Suriwongse (don`t pronounce the `s`) hotel has been around for yonks, and I have stayed there often. It has all the basics and is reasonably cheap for its standard. But you must book a superior room, or the Suite...otherwise you will find yourself in a windowless dungeon. My only complaint is that the walls look grimy and need a...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
