Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel has some of the best views and the best staff in bangkok. Rooms are decently sized and the view from the river room is amazing. There are fireworks which happen in the evening and they are easily visible. I would surely visit again this hotel

Very nice hotel - beautiful views from the room and balcony and the lounge with food all day long and the breakfast are amazing. Of course it’s a must to visit the sky bar at night. Huge selection of drinks and restraints as well. We stayed 3 days and loved every minute of it!

This place is still great. Had read some recent reviews that said there was a problem with the hot water. I had no issues. More than hot. Huge room club access the best breakfast in any hotel I have stayed. Staff are fantastic. Yes things are expensive but you have to accept it. Still a great hotel.

Upon our second trip to Bangkok, my husband and I decided that we would stay at this hotel during a portion of our stay for a honeymoon. It was definitely a bucket list item for us to try. We booked a room that had lounge access, which I highly recommend. We stayed on the 56th floor, and our room was huge. We thought it might be dated, but it wasn’t. It met all of our needs. We had a huge bathroom and an amazing bathtub, a spacious shower, and bath amenities from Balmain. I thought that was pretty cool. Our bed was huge, I think it was a California king? It was really hard/firm, but it was the best night sleep we’ve had in a really long time. The balcony was worth every penny. Being able to sit out there to watch the sun rise, to watch the sunset, or to watch thunderstorms in the distance at night was really cool. Having access and being able to sit in the lounge on the second floor, Really nice views. We were able to enjoy snacks and drinks. The snacks are OK, they are definitely snacks and not something that you could turn into a meal. They do change every day. The drinks are good. I drink Chardonnay, my husband, drink beer, and there was a good choice of top shelf liquors gray goose vodka. The Hotel’s location is in a very hip and cool area. There’s lots to explore, lots of other restaurants, shops, and malls. The staff is ALWAYS helpful, happy, and kind. Thanks Lebua!

May have once been the place to stay but is now quite dated. Room itself was clean and comfortable but in need of some refurbishment. Great views from the balcony and a fabulous breakfast provided. The staff are amazing, if not over the top. I don't feel the need to be greeted by every single one of them with every move I make within the complex. The state tower of which this hotel is a part is a decrepit (may have once been some sort of shopping centre) and run down eyesore. Highway robbery for drinks at the bars. One of the lower bars charges the equivalent of $36 AUD for one beer. Lifts can be quite slow. Having said all of that, the room price was great for the location.

Iconic hotel in a great location with great views. Staff super friendly and breakfast choices excellent. Rooms are huge. As a 5* hotel you expect food and drink around the pool and restaurants to be a little more expensive than other places however the prices here at lebua are extortionate. Almost the equivalent of £20 for a cocktail. If this were a hotel in New York or London you’d expect it but not in Thailand, where you can step just a few metres outside and have exactly the same food and drink for a fraction of the price. This for us, spoilt the stay and aside from sleeping and breakfast we spent very little time in the hotel. Staff at the sky bar seem pushy to make you buy a drink but when the cheapest drink on the menu would be around £30 we swiftly left.
