I stay at the Metropolitan because of the food. They have a delicious menu of healthy food available at all times. In the gym, they have beautiful nut and date balls to munch on after your workout as well. It also has a sizeable yoga studio with classes as well as a fully equipped gym with weights, machines and cardio...

Metropolitan is locatad at the heart or Sathorn, walking distance from Lumphini, Silom and other attractions. Nested in the heart of a quite urban block is the ideal city center retreat. The huge minimalistic designed room will asure the greatest comfort.

Having stayed at the Como in Point Yamu in Phuket, they were doing a deal to stay a few nights in Bangkok as well, so we did. We had a lovely stay, and were luckily upgraded to the Penthouse Suites on the 11th floor. The rooms were very impressive over 2 Floors with Jacuzzi bath, shower and massive living room...

We stayed here with friends for 3 nights as part of a two centre holiday. We were upgraded to a much larger room on arrival which was a very pleasant surprise. Only ate breakfast here as it was part of the deal and was very tasty. Visited the bar once only as its very expensive and the fact that it...

Clean, modern, great service, good facilities = very pleasant stay. We stayed 2 nights. The room was very pleasant and our bags were there before we had even finished checking in. The breakfast was very sufficient. A small buffet element with a main dish ordered from a menu. Decent portions! The hotel spa is certainly well worth a visit. Lovely...

Arrived here around 10am after a long flight from London, we were able to check into our room straight away which was just what we needed. We stayed in a metropolitan studio room which was surprisingly large, huge bed, large sitting area and a fantastic bathroom. The pool area is calming and relaxing with comfy day beds for you to...

Dont real the bad review they are probably from whining customer. Seriously for the price this is a very good deal. Just for the breakfast it's worth it. The location is perfect, easy access to train and metro. They have a nice pool, a great gym, a very welcoming staff, very friendly. We had one dinner at the restaurant and...

I stay at this hotel regularly for work and I felt compelled to review it because it always impresses me. From the check-in, which is outstanding, the whole experience is carefully managed to make sure guests are well cared for. The service levels are as good as anywhere I have stayed. True five-star service. The rooms are big, and well...

Lovely quiet and spacious room with a huge comfortable bed. The room was kept clean and tidy by housekeeping. Staff were very good. Breakfast at Glow was superb, such a great selection of food on offer and we enjoyed the a la Carte menu. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the surrounding area a little bit more and...

Arrived here for a whirlwind trip of Bangkok. Really lush hotel, from the moment we arrived to when we checked out nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. The room we had was on the 6th floor, an absolutely massive room for 2 of us. Bed was comfy, bathroom was spacious. Lovely piping hot running water and a...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
