Upon booking I specifically requested for connecting rooms as we were a family of 5. However, when we checked in we were given 2 deluxe rooms (not connected), even though my booking is for a jr suite and a deluxe room (to be connected). When we arrived we were told it was NOT possible. WHY? No rooms.
Put my complaint to Reservation Dept and they accommodated us with rooms connected but on a refurbished floor (which turned out that they refurbished the lobby areas only but not the rooms cos the paint was peeling off, etc.
We were too tired to make further complaints as we were quite happy to have connecting rooms.
Reservation Dept should confirm if they are unable to meet our request as our reservations were made directly to the hotel.
We have been staying at this hotel for the past few years as we like the location and service staff are friendly. However, we were quite disappointed with our rooms this time.

Please accept our sincere apologies for our failure to clarify you earlier about our connecting room condition. Your comments have been passed to the relevant Department Heads to discuss with their Teams to ensure improvement. With regard to the renovation plan, we are currently renovating floor by floor into the modern classic style which included bathroom upgrading. For the time being, we have only a few rooms completed due to the fact that there is only one 2 Bedrooms Suite each floor. Our location, right in the centre of Bangkok’s best selection of Shopping is superb, and we try to offer affordable prices. We try hard to ensure that our Guests enjoy their stays with us. Location was superb with big C right next to us and central world shopping center opposite. Requested for a non smoking room and someone was smoking, manager was so kind she immediately changed the room for us. There is a pool and gym which was adequate with very friendly staff. Although the hotel is a little old, all the plus points warrant a stay here 👍

We have been regular guests of the hotel for over 20 years. This hotel has been on the downtrend before Covid and even more so now. Room and bathroom are very dated with some refurbishments but not enough. Service standards have dropped significantly with the exception of a couple of long term staff who still recognise us. Most of the staff are new and the reception staff do not recognise repeat guests. Our room air conditioner cannot be turned off causing artic conditions at night. Front office was informed but no follow up. Towels are old and need replacement. We stayed a week and I’m not sure they even changed the bedsheets. Breakfast was at 30% capacity because of low number of guests and the hotel appears understaffed causing service standards to drop. Notwithstanding the situation, we still like this hotel because of the prime location near shopping and food establishments. It’s not a bad hotel and just need the refurbishments and staff recruitments in place. The highlight of our stay was the night before we checked out (when I was paying the bill). The front office manager on duty that night (7pm @ 19 July 2022) recognised us and greeted us. He was still able to recognise our names from the hotel computer system. Our brief chat was highly nostalgic. He had provided good service to us over the years. Hopefully when we return later this year, things in the hotel have improved for the better.

The location is very convenient if you are targeting central area, like Big C and CentralWorld and many shopping mall nearby. However the room is old, food quality is bad and not fresh. We will look for another choice next time.

Location is 5 stars , near CentralWorld /Pratunam area. Hotel lobby etc is about 4 stars. Our junior suite is 3 stars, toilet and amenities are poor.Faucets, sink, WC etc are so old.Shower room with plastic curtain is so small and I cant turn easily, instant hot water is inconsistent with hot and cold intermittently. Shampoo and shower gel are in small tubes and so hard to squeeze out and average quality. Room aircon is wall type and you can see the bulky conduit running on the wall. Internet is patchy and too slow for you to even access FB! Breakfast buffet is so limited in choices, unlike many other other Thai hotels. Coffee is brewed by pot and you have to pay if you want expresso machine coffee! They don't even serve Thai soup noodles for the buffet! Overall, the only thing good about this hotel ( as compared to so many Thai hotels I have stayed) is the location.

Airport pickup was smooth, clear instruction was communicated via email. All staff were friendly. We stayed 5D4N on this trip, on our 4th day, when we came back after 9pm, we were surprised our room was only 50% cleaned up. Bed was made up, beverages were replenished, trash was cleared but 1 cup was left in the bathroom sink & toiletries / towels were not replenished. Was kinda disappointed on our last night.

The rooms need renovation. Furniture, carpet and wall very outdated. Bed nice and location excellent. If renovated, surely many people will stay. Young people would prefer new minimalist style room. Please renovate.

location is great! it is in the middle of the shopping area. however, unlike some hotels, they do not offer any shuttle service to other places unlike a previous hotel i had stayed in. Their room was quite small, had cracks / bubbles on the wall. the furniture and fixtures were either broken, dilapidated, our outdated. i could not press the switches on the side table, and the phone doesnt have any menu - to know which one is house keeping, room service or front desk. did not like that they have a mirror on the headboard of the bed. the closet door seemed like it will fall off. the rug seemed dirty. the bathroom was outdated, but the toilet seemed new. toiletries were not complete - basic at best. mini fridge was cold though.

I have stayed in the Arnoma a number of times and even recommended it, sadly no more.
What I don't understand is why hotels need customers to tell them what is wrong or not not working.
I understand we have been through Covid, but still.
Entrance light did not work
Bathroom exhaust fan did not work
Bathroom lights were very dirty, don't hotel cleaners look above their heads?
Wooden furniture in room is well past its use by date.
Bar had only one of each beer available except extremely expensive Heineken.
Bar did not have sports on TV as promoted.
Male toilet urinals near bar smelt awful, again where are the cleaners.

We are staying at the Arnoma Hotel Bangkok for more than 22 years, the first years
mainly on business and afterwards on holidays. This current visit was supposed to be the beginning of a ship cruise tour. But unfortunately we were informed shortly upon Check-In that all cruising tours had to be cancelled due to the current corona virus situation.
The Manager On-Duty, Khun Charin Duangmuli assisted in an extraordinary manner to organize the personal contact with the local office of Emirates
Airways enabling us to modify our return flight back home to Germany after 3 days.
As usually we had an excellent stay in Bangkok, meeting and shopping with old good Thai friends. And.... we were once again staying in a First Class Hotel far away from Germany …. our Arnoma Hotel Bangkok.
The staff is excellent qualified and very well trained and we always feel like being together with friends. The hotel unfortunately is getting in its age and needs step by step renovation.

Yes they do have smoking room. You need to ask for it first. If you get caught smoking in a non smoking room , you will get a big fat bill fit it. So do ask for smoking room in advance .
You may get a taxi approximately 500bht plus toll normal 4 seater cab bigger cab will cost about 700bht 1 way trip plus toll fee
Yes, cash is king.
You can try the Mango Restaurant on level 1 where they serve International Buffet Breakfast which changes recipe everyday. I think they do have Indian Breakfast if not mistaken.
