Some rooms a bit tired but overall a good hotel. Lovely breakfast, good sized pool (although the usual difficulty getting beds due to people reserving them!) and great location for getting around. Very close to skytrain and taxis right outside.

We stayed three nights in total at the begininning and end of our tour. I found staff to be friendly and the rooms very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of different styles of food. We had a nice pre dinner drink at Palm 18 Bar which is just down the road from the...

Room: Spacious, well-maintained, comfortable beds, sufficient in-room amenities, large bathroom (bit aged but classy) Location: Prime location of Sukhumvit (the central district of Bangkok for tourists), about 500 metres walk from main road, so no disturbance of outside traffic, hotel has complimentary pick-up and drop off to main road by Tuk Tuk also. Food: Continental breakfast, delicious, large spread, There...

An exceptional hotel in a brilliant location for visiting the sights of Bangkok. From the stylish reception to the incredible rooftop bar and selection of restaurants the Rembrandt is a great resting place. The executive lounge adds a touch of class and the spa is not only exceptional value but also first class in service.

Great hotel in a very central location, close to a rail station, shopping centre and local market stalls. The lobby bar is a bit slow on the uptake, you will sit with an empty glass unless you proactively seek out the bartender and in comparison to stepping next door to the Palm 18 bar and restaurant, it was very pricey...

We arrived in Bangkok on a third leg of our 30th anniversary holiday. At checking with the usual, passports, credit card, not a smile or welcome, was passed, then the Gentleman(Wootichang?) comments, smoking room or non smoking, which we reply non smoking, this is asked three times to which he then comments that my wife looks like a smoker. What does...

Booked here on a 3 day stop on way to Koh Samui. Eventually arrived after the notorious Bangkok traffic ! Had a room on the 6th floor - perfectly adequate for our needs (to sleep) - welcome powerful air conditioning controlled by a digital panel next to the bed. Rooms were very big, view not very exciting. Didn't use the...

The hotel had clean rooms, nice amenities, a lovely pool, and a lot to see/do all around due to its great location. The price was also quite affordable for our family of four. I recommend getting a room on the upper floors for a better view. Enjoy!

I visited Bangkok with my wife and in laws. This was a good value for money hotel. Nearby to the Ashoka metro and a lot of restaurants. The service was good and the hotel was neat and clean. Mostly full of families. This hotel is near to all shopping areas and located strategically. Service was also good. Though furniture is...

A nice place to stay for a short amount of time. Situated in a convenient space with a chemist, bank, skytrain, multiple cafes and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. We stayed in a room for 2 adults and 1 child but we couldn't put any of our clothes in a wardrobe/storage space so we had to lay things...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
