We have spent 4 nights, tonight is the last, at the Naria Hotel as part of our Thailand tour. The location seems good, although we have been collected each day by minibus and taken to see the sights. But we are surrounded by nice shops and eateries and a bustling street market. Within a matter of yards is the Silom... More

Hotel pick-up from airport, reception check-in, both ran smoothly. Requested room with walk in shower (no bath), large bed, non-smoking. All 3 requests met without problem. Room had all necessary features, although not the latest in style maybe. Early morning paper not delivered first 3 days, although concierge said they had been despatched. Also missed final morning. Buffet breakfast large... More

The last two days of our Thailand holiday (we visited Phuket, Phi Phi and Ao Nang) were spent in the bustling city of Bangkok and we stayed at the Narai Hotel. The hotel is in a good upmarket and central area of the city. We were within walking distance to the skytrain station and also within walking distance to the... More

I have stayed in several hotels in the same area and can say Narai is the best value and overall very good experience. Room interior is a bit dated and there was paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling but everything was clean and working. Staff is really friendly and helpful even at busy times, the location is great and both... More

We had a really comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, twin beds, good shower, buffet breakfast - huge choice. Free wifi. Staff were really helpful at reception and happy to change large notes for smaller ones. ATM in the lobby.

we really enjoy this clean and proper hotel; it is at one very central place so you can visit a big part of bangkok by walking; not expensive but very tasty kitchen is waiting for your orders; a very familiar pool wait for you too; just everything is very OK, but what makes Narai Hotel special is the 100% friendly... It's a good and affordable hotel at reachable location, 30-45min from airport. Clean room and bathroom. Maintained corridor, have community hall for marriage or birthday or any party or get together. Morning breakfast was good. Free parking also. Overall, good hotel at prime location. Near by temple is also there at walkable distance.

It's located in a good location among Hindu temple, market, pub and restaurant, etc. Also, it's very near to Surasak BTS Station, so it will be easy to roam around bangkok. The food is nice and the hotel is neat, comparing with the price .. it's already reasonable.

I did not like it. We were 3 persons and when we arrived they had not fixed the room yet, it was very small and no space between our beds, we also had small bugs in the bathroom and a cockroach in our room. The shower still had hair from a previous guest in it.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
