Since 2010 whenever I stayed in khao-san, Bangkok, I chose this guesthouse. The price was reasonable for the value, it used to be clean and felt safe. During my last visit ,I was dissapointed. The room were the same, only worn out, not at all as clean as it used to be. The staff were never too friendly. Because of...

Four sons is a great place to spend your time in Bangkok. The rooms are nice and clean, a bit expensive though, but reasonable and a good value for your money. The wifi works great all over the floors and for free. I don't know if they have food but there are tons of places to eat near by

I stay here last week, my first time in Asia. Good location & room was small and not too clean but that is the "backpacker" life. I like that it is close to koh san road lots to see and do. maybe next time i try another guesthouse. i had no wifi during stay which was upsetting.

A lot of dirt under the bed, and there were also ants in the room. When I talked about it to the staff, they didn't seem surprised at all. However, location is great and most of the staff were nice and efficient. Don't book there shuttle to the airport, it's overpriced.

Great location, less than minute of walking to the khao san road. They not offer too much, but that was ok for us. Perfect for travellers. Is not eaay to find room with air condition for those prices. We stay 3 friends in one room, so the fair recepeint let us pay just for two of us. Comfort place.

I stayed for a few nights as I wanted a bit of Khao san road madness before I went to my next destination. Room was very basic, but clean. Air con worked well, bed was reasonably comfy, wifi was good. The staff didn't seem the happiest, but they seemed ok. Location is perfect, at the end of Khao San road,...

I stayed in this place 2 years ago for around 1 week and my impression was really good. When I first arrived Bangkok on the 5th of July, my first destination was this hotel cause i was very satisfied during my stay in 2013 (you can read my ex review if you check my profile) I went to the reception...

Staff were very friendly and helped us to track down a lost bag, calling the airport for us on multiple occasions and letting us store our bags in a locked facility when we had to wait until night time for our train to arrive. Bed wasn't too comfortable but this seems to be the trend in SEA and it was...

My boyfriend and I stayed in this "hotel" for 3 days, 2 nights. The rooms are not clean and there are bugs in the shower. The bed is not comfortable and the room is really small. But the worst thing about this place is the staff! They have there the worst costumer service in the world. We travelled a lot...

Stayed here 3 times of which 2 of the times we arrived in Bangkok at 5.00 am. Both times we were given a room as a (really) early check-in which basically means half a days stay for free. Excellent because that gave us the chance to catch some extra sleep after the night is! Cleanliness is moderate, but at least...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
