I guess I should first admit that I was a little concerned about this hotel as the reviews up until a certain date were not great. However the location was perfect for us, as we knew it was right near the shops, markets & BTS train line. Check in was great. As an ACCOR member we got access to free...

Location is really good, 3-5mins walk to MBK which is a popular mall with great shopping and food. Get about everything there. From MBK, cross the main road is Siam Square where there are more shops and food as well. Room is really nice, we aren't into huge rooms so it was perfect. Clean, modern and comfy. There is a...

Getting to Mercure Bangkok Siam was a breeze. Took a cab from Don Mueang Airport to Mo Chit BTS (cost roughly abt 150baht), took the BTS to Siam Station, changed line and took ONE stop to National Stadium BTS and tadah! The hotel is right smack alongside the station itself. *Travellers please see the signboard maps at the BTS station...

Very close to the BTS Skytrain, good view of the city there's a 5 minute walk to the famous MBK Centre. The staff were knowledgeable of the city and helpful in organising taxi to the airport. There is also a travel agent in reception who gave reasonably priced tours. I stayed for 3 nights in a Superior room. It was...

Mercure is a good choice hotel, comfortable, clean, great staff and close to everything. Breakfast is good and the rooms quiet and well set out. We enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay here again. We are a family 2 adults and 1 child. Reasonably priced and well catered. Wifi worked well.

Having previously lived in Bangkok for a couple of years, this time I decided to visit the Jim Thompson House museum which I highly recommend. My partner and I also went shopping and dining to Siam Discovery, Center and Paragon and found it very convenient to reach them using the skywalk (no need to cross the street). On top of...

This hotel sits above the Ibis Hotel - a little confusing when locating for the first time as we didn't know about the arrangement. The Mercure is a great hotel with so many benefits.
