If you plan to do something near Rama 9/Ratchadapisek/ Asok might be the place you looking for just a basic hotel for couple nights. I don't think it suits for 'Boutique Hotel' where I expect. Hotel room is clean. Warm welcome with welcome drinks and good service mind. You can walk to MRT not far and boat. Hard to catch...

No frills. Plenty of uncouth tourists. Guess u can't expect more for this price. Don't bother with the breakfast as there's great street food just outside. Unless you love your free food. One of the elevators is from the Twilight Zone as the number it shows didn't correspond with the floor... Lol! If u don't plan to spend any time...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The location was not ideal. The Room was modern, quite large, but noisy and the bed very hard. Breakfast was horrible in quality and variety… Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is ok for the price, and the location, but the breakfast was appalling and the staff...

Stay there for 2 nights during my vacation to Bangkok last year. The room is a bit small, as I have add on extra bed in the room, however I found white ants inside the bathroom. Yet they still place the towel and bathing shampoo near the white ants. They should refurnished the place.

...a value for money boutique hotel, with all basic aminities provided. Location is much better than other boutique hotels in the vicinity. Unlike other hotels this one isn't located in the market area but is a peaceful business district. Metro rail service is just next door. A lot of organisd eateries in the adjoining buildings. Also airport shuttle metro station...

We stayed there at our first foreign trip. At first glimpses the hotels look good. Hotel is very closed to Petchaburi metro station as well as Makkasan Airport Express railway which is the best point of this hotel. The Breakfast served at the hotel was just awesome.

When it comes to hotel staff service, I don't really ask for much- just the basics and I'm happy. It was nice that the bellboys/ security staff were really friendly. Although some could not speak English very well, they were very warm and patiently tried to talk to us and understand what we needed. The lobby receptionist (graveyard shift lady)...

Since my first stay with the wife, about 3 years ago when the hotel was new or under new management, this property has slipped below acceptable quality. We had rated this property well for it's modest, clean comforts and excellent location, close to Makkasan Airtrain terminal, MRT line and BTS Asoke staion. It was for this reason that I returned,...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
