"IF" you are returning to the hotel to stay after the 15 days, I would ask if you can leave your luggage. I have left bags for a few days when I was returning too a hotel. Expect a fee should they offer the convenience,

The reception desk has the place for the concierge, I am sure they will be able to arrange and assist regarding the best places to book excursions. It is always good to make sure about the excursion provider and check them online first, there are fake ones as well. This is why I would recommend talking to the concierge, their information can be trusted most.
I know you did not ask this and maybe you already know, I would like to warn about the local taxis.
At the airport, only trust the real taxi stand, there are dishonest taxi guys offering taxi right at the arrivals hall - best to avoid.
I usually try to avoid the taxi hassle by booking a transfer from the hotel by sending them email.
If you do this, it is good to know that the people from different hotels are not at the exit of the baggage hall where people usually wait for arrivals, need to walk the arrivals hall a bit further, then you'll see an area where all the hotel people are waiting.
Also in the real taxi, make sure the meter is running, I've come across three separate taxis during last few weeks who 'forget' the meter running and I always have to push them to turn it on.
