We stayed here for 2 nights and found it to be very good value for the money. The location is OK, where you can walk to a night market. The pool on the roof is a great place to hang out for a drink and unwind. Breakfast was very good as well, and the staff was helpful.

We had a nice stay at Casa Nithra. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are really nice. The shower was a bit of problem swinging from hot to cold and back again. Nice swimming pool on the roof. Breakfast was also very nice. We were close near the backpackers area. Would defenitely recommend it.

We found this hotel once in Bangkok after our original hotel turned out to be a disaster. The hotel is clean, friendly, and has a lovely rooftop pool and bar that provides a great view, good food and we retreated to it as the oasis for the day. The breakfast provided by the hotel is great and for the price...

Casa Nithra is a nice, relatively small hotel. I think it's greatest virtue is its location, as it is located nearby the Khao San Road (+- 1 km, you can walk) and a short taxi drive/boat ride/tuktuk experience from the Grand Palace. Tip: walk to the Chao Phraya Express pier number 13 (Phra Anthit) and take the boat with the...

My husband and I stayed at Casa Nithra for 3 nights in November 2016. The hotel staff was very friendly and we found the location perfect. It's only a 10 min walk to Khao San Road, which we visited 2 out of the 3 nights. We were able to walk to the river boat landing and to the Grand Palace...

Perfect location for Khao San Road - Close enough to walk there but far enough away to get away from the noise. It's also a great location for the Grand Palace and Wat Pho temples. The hotel is really clean and modern and the rooftop pool is an added luxury. Be aware of the hidden service charge on drinks/food at...

We stayed in the Casa Nithra for two nights. The rooms were beautiful, oriental, clean and modern. We stayed here because it was extremely close to Khao San Rd and we wanted to party. The staff were lovely and helpful. The only let down was over the 2 nights we racked up a bill of 5000 bahts just on eating...

LOCATION: Love love this place! Just a 10 min walk from the "khao san road" where all the shops and restaurants are. Also, fairly close to the Temples and Pier (if you are in need of a day time cruise). Located close enough to the main attractions but still far enough to have a quiet night. We enjoyed the two nights here. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and close enough to the airport and main Bangkok party bars, temples and food places to have a great two days but far enough and decent enough a standard to relax and sleep at night. Cabs to and from airport are cheap as are food stalls and tuk...

Really enjoyed the stay at Casa Nithra. We stayed for 3 nights. Location, pool and breakfast is super. Rooms are clean and service minded staff. Only thing is that the internet connection is really bad. Great place to stay if you are planning on visiting Bangkok!

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
