WOW just Wow, set down a little lane near Wat Pho this little gem of a hotel is fantastic. We stayed here for two days after finishing a tour across Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. This hotel was the best we stayed in. The staff and owners are magnificent and treat you like royalty, nothing is too much trouble and the...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on the last stint of our honeymoon. Out of the 6 or so hotels we stayed in over the 2 weeks this is by far the best. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are amazing and the view is incredible. Breakfast was great and you can also have lunch and dinner...

My boyfriend and I had the best experience staying here. The hotel room was so freaking cool, the view was a million dollar view, the staff bent over backwards to provide us excellent service. I recommend this hotel 100 times over to anyone!

We only stay one night in our one day stay in Bangkok. It is perfect located to visit temples. Decoration of hotel is modern and they have a very nice roof with views on the river and the temple. Family is really kind, always trying to help us in everything. But best for us was food, really really nice. Curry...

The location is superb. You are within walking distance of most of the attractions (Wat Po and Grand Palace a block away). The ferry is right around the corner if you want to visit Temple of Dawn. The streets surrounding the hotel are brimming with cafe's, bars, restaurants etc. A perfect landing to start your Bangkok adventure! The staff are...

Positive: Fantastic design of the rooms and the lobby/café + location close to the temples + view on Wat Arun just across the river, though not a full view from the first floor + very close to a ferry terminal. Negative: Breakfast is very simple and not suitable for vegetarians - the hotel is VERY difficult to find for taxi...

A little gem hidden down a dingy back ally. All the food was delicious but the sweet & sour pork was my favourite. Very reasonably priced with a/c and power sockets, allowing phones to be recharged for more photos to be taken. Staff were lovely. Will certainly be recommending.

In our first visit to Bangkok for our honeymoon, we were delighted with this quaint boutique hotel!!! The service is excellent and the breakfast was delicious. We only stayed for three nights, as we left to Chiang Mai after the third day. This hotel set a high standard for the rest of our trip and expectations for the following hotels....

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
