Great hotel, with some lovely pool areas, stayed here twice, and the first time I had nothing to complain about but second time the cleaning was not 100% spot on, the fridge was full of old food leftover from previous visitors, but well it is human to fail and the rest seemed up to the standards from my previous stay...

Good budget hotel with two roof top pools. Close to khoa san road, but not right on it. So is quiet. Rambuttri is a lovely road, selling loads of cool stuff on stalls. Good restaurants, great massage shops, and some cool little cocktails vw vans. Staff kind and helpful. Rooms big enough for solo travellers, or a couple. Probably wouldnt...

Maybe it's not luxury, but it doesn't claim to be that. The rooms are clean and nice, the staff are friendly, breakfast is rich and most of all - best location in Bangkok. It's such an overwhelming city, while this holiday hotel offers a hoiliday feel to it. I am soo glad I stayed there.

Rambuttri Village was in a great location very close to Khao San Road. I would definitely recommend booking here and opting for the morning breakfast. There are many options for food such as scrambled eggs, freshly cut fruits, a variety of juices to chose from. Additionally, there is a Koi Fish pond out front of the hotel which makes for...

I travelled as a single and requested a deluxe room. I can't even imagine what the difference was between a standard single and a deluxe single. The deluxe accommodation was substandard lacking electrical outlets, a 20th century television and more than a single towel. No washcloth, no hand towel. When I inquired about extra towels, I was told that I...

Stayed two days when arriving to Bangkok and two more days when we were leaving. Pool area at the roof was nice and well kept. No staff or bar there, but there is this vending machine where you can buy small snacks and beer. Right next to khao san. Ate once at the restaurant, food was ok but a bit...

Great spot five minutes from kao San road. Rambuttri is on a softer version of KSR- lots of restaurants and street food vendors, but without the loud music. We stayed in the A building on the third floor and never heard a peep from outside. I'm super sensitive to noise - especially after a 20 hour flight ;) so I...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
