We had a great stay! Yes, our room had a few cosmetic issues, however, it was very clean and very quiet for the duration of our stay. We loved the breakfast that was served and the location was amazing with anything you needed within a block from the hotel. The staff were always so welcoming and great. Overall, we would stay here again!

I’ve went to Bangkok on 15th of December 2023 with 3 of my friends. We checked into i residence Silom. We booked premium deluxe room.. The room was spacious and clean with wifi internet, cable TV…etc..What i like about is the location, it’s just opposite BTS Chong Nonsi . Travelling in BTS is convenient especially Bangkok is well known for traffic jams. The premium deluxe room price is reasonable and location is good. I would recommend to book this hotel if they like good service and if they are on budget..

This is our second visit and not the last! Location is absolutely perfect. Close BTS station. Easy to get in and out from Airport and other attractions. Food stores, laundry, 7eleven and everything what you need just behind the corner. Room very clean and spacious - especially when you travel with kids! Pool has good size and has got really nice view - to MahaNakhom highest building in Bangkok. The staff from this hotel is absolutely outstanding. They find the money which my husband left in room after check out and keep them until we return to Bangkok!!!We are extremely surprised that team was very fast and honest with response. This doesn’t happen often when you travel often. We highly recommend everyone the hotel and facilities if you want stay in Bangkok with peace of minds and enjoy! You will be not disappointed!!!

(1) No WiFi. Hotel provides QR code for WiFi name & user/password, but failed to scan. No content available. Couldn't search (name) network. Manually. Logged on to the network after many attempts but cut off after few minutes and couldn't find the network again. (2) Low water pressure and need rocket science to operate the water heater. Temperature not consistent, either extremely hot or cold water. (3) Great location - just next to BTS Chong Nonsi and approx. 1.5km (15min walk) from MRT Silom. (4) Limited car park. (5) Bad soundproof. Need to pull/push the door hard to shut firmly and causing noise. (6) Aircond compressor very close to the bed (photo attached). Very noisy at night and couldn't sleep well. (7) Breakfast was good (8) Friendly frontdesk staff (9) Housekeeping didn't replenish coffee Definitely not a 4* hotel (listed as a 4* in agoda but 3* in Google). Not worth the price for the quality of the room. For location, Yes.

terrible hotel! we were given a dirty room with no hot water. They changed our room the next day! BUT! we need to check out from the hotel at 12:00 and check in at 14:00. this is extremely inconvenient for us. I don't recommend making the mistake of booking this terrible hotel.

This hotel is in a big location. I’ll give them that, however, they should not rest on your laurels and make some major improvements. This review is more of a suggestion than a complaint. The I residence Silom is a good hotel in terms of location, polite staff & the breakfast provided when u pay for it. The hotel needs fixing up no doubt about it. I think hotel guest just accept it the way it is becoz room rates are quite low 60% of the time. Things that can be improved are the lightings in the room, perhaps update their fixtures & furniture in the rooms, update their tv channels & also the in room bedside telephones. So here’s my suggestion : I had requested 2 extra bottles of water & 2 more pillows during my 1 nite stay 18-19oct 2023. I was sharing the room With my partner. I was informed that there would be extra charges for more water( bh40/us$1.10 each)bottles & pillows.(bh50/us$1.37 each) The “extra charges” were not outrageous but I felt that this type of information should have been stated clearly when we were making our bookings or when bookings were confirmed. I have stayed at this hotel several times before and I was never asked to pay extra for their amenities. Perhaps this hotel was trying to make up losses they suffered during the CoVID19 pandemic. And of course the staff member I spoke to was not emphatic at all to my requests. I would have gladly paid for the “extras” if they were as advertised in the initial booking. I am requesting that the Management of I Residence Silom hotel & other hotels for that matter to rethink that branding & advertising because unlike most people I do read the smaller details.

Will give 1 out of 5 due to experience. I residence hotel silom - Room is old and outdated and claimed a 3 star hotel. - Room not clean with some dust and worn towel and sheets. - Chaos during check in for 8 people with just 4 rooms booked staying for a week. - Only 1 key provided per room when there are 8 of us travelling and booked 4 rooms. Each has their own itinerary and not most of the time travelling together. Reason for this is they are fully booked no other keys available. - Smelly sewer from the pipes in the bathroom. - Very noisy with thin walls. You can hear outside and hallway noise, TV from other room. - Air condition is not cold enough - 2 Thin pillows in the room and there is an extra pillow charge of THB 50 per pillow per night if you need extra. - Manager could not be found. Somewhat busy and could not handle questions, feedback, or complaints. No phone number if there is an emergency. Waited for the manager for 1 hr and still nowhere to be found. Ask for an email but also no reply. reception staff are rude and not willing to help. - Booked for a week but stayed only for a night to to all of the above incident. Not happy with the stay. - Leave luggage TBH 100 per day per bag - Requested for refund and stayed somewhere else a nearby better accommodation but still no reply from management. Booking.com also tried to contact them many times but no reply.

The stay was generally ok. This hotel is located right beside the metro so getting round is a breeze. However, it was far too noisy as the walls are not soundproofed. I was kept up at night by the conversations and laughter of the people in the next room. I wish this hotel would invest in soundproofing because apart from this , everything else was perfect. I would probably not stay here again.

Visited Bangkok from 27/5 - 2/6 and had just returned back to my country. The Downside The downside to this place is that they couldn’t comply with our wish that the 2 rooms we booked should be connected to each other or at least at the same floor. But instead we were placed at two separate buildings connected by a skyway. After a day or two we got used to walking through the skyway to visit each other’s room. Another downside is the TV channels…. The tv guide showed many nice channels but most channels especially in English were non-existent. I think the hotel should really do an improvement on this as they’re are many foreigners like myself staying in hotels who cannot speak or understand Thai language. The Perks The rooms for 3 persons were spacious and very clean. The room for 2 persons were small but it fits two person perfectly. Very clean and cosy. Love the beds, pillows and all. Bathrooms were super clean too. No smell, no bugs. The hotel is strategically situated in from of Chong Nonsi BTS station. You can get any mode of transport you want to in front of the hotel. There are many food stalls along the streets and they’re superrrrrrrr delicious. I’m going to stay here again if I happen to visit Bangkok any time soon. To all the workers at I residence, silom…… thank you for the great stay there. Ka pun ka!

After my wife and I discussed at length whether we should say something about the HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE we got here, I recalled that they got SO MANY BRANCHES and locations in just Bangkok alone, it isn't even funny. So, I AM WRITING this. No other family of 4 should suffer like we did. It was a bad start because we arrived much later (wait 40min just to get off plane, luggage handle delay for another 50 minutes and later huge traffic jam into center of Bangkok). Our guess was that they thought maybe we weren't arriving and went ahead to give our suite to another family. At this day and age, all it took was a phone call or an email to confirm. My wife asked them "why didn't you confirm with us?" and received silence. We specifically wanted the suite because the family could be together IN ONE BIG ROOM. Next came a series of bad service behaviors that overwhelmed us. In retrospect, now we sort of are thinking they represent this huge brand's behavior so others should be warned! First, they kept explaining they would UPGRADE us to 2 bigger rooms that don't even connect. Of course this doesn't look like an upgrade for us because our 6year-old and 9-year-old want us all to be together. While we were wondering where we would stay if leaving this place, we witnessed the bell boy's DRAGGING of my luggage. I had to politely ask to handle the luggage myself because all our suitcases HAVE WHEELS. And also, neither my kids and I was rude, we kept our opinions to ourselves. But at this point, we really felt the hotel and we didn't start off on the right foot at all. We still contemplated staying here one night and switched the next day, because getting a different hotel at 10pm like this is just too risky, which parents want their 6-and-9-yearold's to go to sleep their first night in bangkok at 2am? Then we saw the room. Honestly, the room was built in a way that might look great on camera but would not compare with bigger brand hotels at ALL. Frequent travelers would get this vibe right away. Things seemed to lack hospitality industry standards. We went for dinner and decided to leave for another hotel. More trouble came. The lady on the shift kept telling us we could only get refund for the nights we haven't stayed and would get charged this night; this didn't make any sense at all because though our luggage were taken upstairs, we just barely walked in the rooms. After lots of back and forth, they called in their shift manager (who they said was driving home and couldn't answer a phone-call before but now suddenly just showed up from the back room, weird, huh?) At the end, the shift manager gave us this comment as a send-off which I will remember forever: "We gave you refund. By the way, I DIDN'T help you. SHE helped you [the lady receptionist]. You should leave. THANK-YOU!" Although she didn't speak thank-you with an aggressive attitude and tried to make it sound nice, you could clearly feel the attitude their staff and management showed here. They didn't help with any solution at all and EVERYONE should think twice about booking this place.
