The common area is my favorite part about this hostel. It is comfortable with lots of seats and light music playing throughout the day. The staff is friendly and the location is good, fairly close to Khao San Road. However, the air conditioning made for a very cold night of sleep during which I resorted to wearing layers to keep...

Very unimpressed by our stay at bewel. We had absolutely no help regarding tour information, airport shuttle or even where the nearest atm was. Facilities were ok but there are so many hostels around, for the same price, that are so much nicer. And have breakfast that is more than just 3 pieces of white bread. Would not recommend this.

Location, atmosphere, common areas and staff are all excellent however the sleep was one of the worst in our whole trip through SEA. Super thin and bended mattresses. AC is also insufficient as it does't reach our beds properly. I recommend you check the beds first and decide. Similar price or even cheaper at Sabye Club Hostel 2 minutes Away with...

The staff are very nice, easy-going and helpful. They helped us with the luggage moving and taxi booking. The room is clean and the bed is pretty comfortable. Overall, we had a good time staying at Bewel

Decent hostel in a relatively good location- a 7 minute walk to the central party district. It's extremely well priced but a little cramped. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast albeit just toast and jam.

I have been in this hostel several times but it seems the standards are going down. This time I booked two beds on an 8 people dorm, but they put me on a 14 people room. Both receptionist gave me different excuses an none of them refunded me the difference (they didn't even know the price of the rooms, or...

We stayed in a 6 bed female dorm which was nice but quite cramped. Had blinds around bed so good privacy. The aircon in room worked well. Reception and communal areas were lovely, and friendly staff who helped us plan day trip to Ayuttaya. Would stay here again.

I stayed at bewels for four nights and i loved it. The staff is absolutely friendly, you have free breakfast (3 slices of toast with butter and jam), free water tea and coffee the whole day. The way it is decorated and made is suuuper nice. Everythings very bright and feels like if you hang out at your own house....

I love this hostel. A little small but very clean and warmful. I like the sanitizer on every sink. Breakfast only bread and jam+butter/ Though it takes a little walk to Khaosan road and nearly 1km to bus stop and very near from Chao Phraya river. The neighborhood is great. Quiet and peaceful. I was lucky to have an upper...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
