Great location near metro station Sukhumvit and BTS station Asok which made it easy to navigate around Bangkok and to and from the airport. Mattresses were firm, basic breakfast provided with proper espresso coffee. The only thing that needs improving is the information on how to find it the first time. You turn right at the first lane off soi...

The room and bathroom were very comfortable with everything you need (wifi free and perfectly working). The hotel is located in a safe and quiet place, the location is great to discover Bangkok with BTS skytrain. The area of Sukhumvit itself is one of the best in Bangkok where to stay. The staff is really nice and the breakfast was...

If you prefer a friendly atmosphere, quiet and peaceful place, Baan Sukhumvit soi 20 is a good choice to stay in Bangkok. The hotel is located in a small alley near Soi Sukhumvit 20, just a couple minutes from sky train and subway stations. As we discuss with many guests, most of them are returned visitors because staffs, especially Kevin,...

Clean and good location. Unfortunately there was a construction site right next to it, which was quite loud during the day. At night it was quiet though. The staff was good and friendly. The breakfest was yummy (ask for real milk if you don't like creamer).

Looked around for somwhere near the shopping malls but not so busy and came up with this place, couldn't have chosen better. It's at the end of a quite side street ( theres building work next to it but never really heard much) and right next to Terminal 21 shopping mall which suites me fine. The hotel itself has a...

The location of Baan Sukhumvit Inn Soi 20 is very good. A 5min walk to both Sukhumvit MTR station and Asok Sky train station. Our room was reasonably clean with a clean and comfortable bed but the hotel has definitely seen better days. Our bathroom could have done with an overhaul and was not particularly clean. We did not try...

Our plan was to spend 8 nights in Bangkok. Nights 2 thru 8 would be spent at the Sukhumvit Marriott, but our first night had to be spent somewhere else. Our plane would be arriving very late at night and since we were going to be spending only about 9 hours at our first hotel, we decided we needed a...

I just stayed 1 week in this great place and didn't regret anything at all. It was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating, and it was quiet. I am a light sleeper so it is very important for me to get a quiet hotel. They have a nice DVD library downstairs in case you want to watch. :) The next...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
