For the price, you can do much better in Chiang Mai. The rooms are ok, but very bare bones. They didn't even provide toilet paper. The staff was very noisy early in the morning. Also, I couldn't get a wifi signal from my room. My biggest complaint is the extremely rude staff. They wouldn't even call a taxi for me....

This place is well situated for exploring The Old City area of Chaing Mai. The rooms for the price are great. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfasts in the restaurant again were great. What lets the place down is the staff. Nearly all seemed completely disinterested in helping you. On checking in they seemed distinctly unfriendly. They would not help...

Safe House Court is in the middle of the old, walled Chiang Mai City and is within easy walking distance of all the attractions, restaurants, pubs and massage parlours. If you are lucky, you can claim one of the two car parking spaces available so that your car is not parked on the small, narrow street. SHC rooms are newly...

Air conditioned clean rooms in the centre of the old city (great location). The hostel was very quiet (although we're travelling out of season) which wasn't an issue for us, but it's certainly not a place to visit if you're looking to socialise. The staff were helpful although not overly friendly.

Very disappointed by this place. Greeted by very grumpy staff, they sometimes seemed annoyed that you were even there! it made us feel uneasy and very unwelcome :( The room was okay, very very hard beds but enough space. Unfortunately there was no safe and no fridge. We were told the coin operated washing machines were broken (one of the...

I checked in just before the Sunday Night Walking Market began. The gentleman at the desk went to a great deal of trouble to take out a map and show me where I'd be going the next day, mapping out my entire itinerary for me- and this without my asking for it- saving me lots and and lots of time...

This budget accommodation is basic but nice enough, a bit pricey at 800 bahts for what it offers. The refurbished rooms are quiet, very bright, the bathrooms large and the wifi is free. But it doesn't work in your room. No common space to meet other travellers, but it is well-situated, off a main road with the rooms at the...

The rooms are bright, pretty spacious and very clean. The beds are big and firm. However the staff is totally indifferent and pretty unfriendly. If you keep giving them big smiles, you might finally get a little grin. We also found a bit ironic that a place named "safe house" strongly advises against leaving any valuable in the room and...

The place is good enough and clean. Bed and bathroom are basic and simple. Cleaning is daily. Free WiFi is available. The food in the restaurant is good, diverse and low priced. The terrace is in the cool shade of a large tree. We enjoyed our stay here.

Clean rooms, although old furniture Balcony in third floor overlooking little houses and temples. Working old aircon. Situated behind Thapae Gate, close to streetfood markets and several temples. Restaurant makes good ricesoups. Unfriendly staff with bad English skills. Because my boyfriend suffered from food poisoining, we ended up getting picked up by my family living close to chiangmai . When...
