I had read some reasonable reviews on Expedia and other sites, but pretty shoddy ones on Trip Advisor. This hotel is like a grand, elegant old lady who needs a new set of flash lingerie and some cool outer garments. If the owner of this establishment wants to contact me, I can give him/her/them some really good ideas for making... More

stayed just 2 nights here. very old run down, cobwebs in the shower, broken fittings, bad smell, no service, unhappy lobby staff. only plus is location for nightlife and a huge carpark which is why we stayed. better accomodation elsewhere.

We were moved to this hotel after ours was overbooked. We only lasted 10 mins. The lobby looked nice and clean but once we got to the room it was a different story. The carpet was old and dirty, furniture dusty. Worst of all of this was we found multiple bed bugs on the bed. We asked for our money... More

Room was good size, had a bath and shower Breakfast was a terrible experience, typical Asian mad rue, all elbows queue cutting, food ran out and I went out to find breakfast around streets. Last resort type of place

I did not want to write a review, but since cockroaches are keeping me awake, i have nothing better to do. Usually i can deal with a bad hotel, but when roaches walk over you, yeah thats right, while trying to sleep, thats where i go crazy. The breakfast i cant even describe because thia morning a found sonething slimy... More

Start with the plaudits.. a fantastic view over the River Ping, but just about everything else about the hotel was sadly lacking, miserable reception staff, strange reception area, wifi was non existent, rooms were very tired as was all the hotel.. I wish I could write something nice but even the breakfast was absolutely terrible

Very cheap due to ghost rumours, although a hounting might have improved our stay. Yes, it is cheap and yes it is very very old and have had absolutely no maintenance for the last 25 years. Hotel staff dressed in their own clothes and joggingsuits. A very green algae-filled swimmingpool. Worn and torn interior. Someone had been writing on the... More

My expectations of a budget hotel aren't high. I've stayed in some pretty questionable accommodations in Thailand but I've never once left a bad review. You get what you pay for but I wouldn't stay at this place if it were free. We booked four nights and paid in advance through an online travel site. The price was low but... More

After reading some of the reviews about the hotel I booked the hotel with trepidation for 7 days from 20 January. When I arrived the greeting was quite off hand but did not take too long. There was no assistance to my 5th floor room however there are three guests lifts. The room was dated but quite large with uninterrupted... More

So due to my procrastination on finding a hotel in Chiang Mai, we were left with very few choices, and we took a chance on this. The place was cheap and well-situated close to the river and the night market. The place wasn't as dirty as some of the other reviewers noted, but still was somewhat grimy and had a... More
