Was on a small trip to town and needed a place to crash, found it on booking. and it was discounted 46% to 1100 baht. Simply not worth it. Minibar was empty whit a nice layer of mold, can't really see it due to a broken lamp and a broken power socket (couldn't charge the iPhone up, so no blitz)....

It's a big hotel, rooms are large. It's quiet and you get a free breakfast. It is quite far from the tourist district, but getting transportation is easy. The ladies at the front desk speak very good english.

Rooms are big but the hotel poorly maintains. Upon entering the room, the TV and fridge not working and asked the hotel maintenance guy to check and eventually TV manage to function but not the fridge . Breakfast varieties quite limited but still tasty. However, I notice one of the bread was already mouldy .

Hotel is far from center about 8 km. Rooms are very old fashioned but clean. Air conditioner working well but noisy. Staff so kind and friendly. In short, good value for money. Do I come here again? No, if I don't have a car.

Not far from Airport, on the way to Wararoj market, nearby high way, close to Holiday Inn. Old hotel but partly new innovated with wooden floor. Next to a local market full of food, souvernir and shoppes. Many small restaurant and 7-11 just the entrance.

But I can't help sending you to the Blue Moose Cafe in the boatyard for the best breakfast in town -- exceptional smoked salmon scramble with fresh spinach, mushrooms and parmesan. The next day, veggie hash with the most perfectly grilled golden brown potatoes. Coffee beans are roasted right in the neighborhood -- perfect. Very friendly staff.

I am a westerner and I stayed here many times, despite the fact that it is almost exclusively marketed to Thais. Let me say that there will be a few things about this hotel that a westerner might turn a nose up at. Almost everything is simple and rather basic and the decor is starting to look very tired. But...
