Stayed for two nights. The first night we had a fan room with shared bathroom on the top floor. Room was spacious and bright. Bed was not completely flat and pretty hard, but okey for one night. Could hear some noise from the neighbours in the morning. Whats most important to say about the fan rooms is that the walls... More

I liked my stay in Awana house. staffs are great and do all they can for accommodate guests. They have a lot of tours that you can book directly from them. The area is very well located and in a quiet street. AC could have worked a bit more, but it was not an issue.

Stayed here 2 years ago and loved it. So what changed? Glad to say nothing changed but all the great things remained. Lovely lovely staff, great rooms with good hot pressure showers en location wise it's still the best in Chiang Mai. Don't hesitate and book.

I stayed here for over a week (partly for research). I enjoyed it a lot. The atmosphere is great with nice wooden funiture and drawings on the walls. Nice cafetaria. Mostly families and couples staying here so less conducive to meeting other (single) tourists. Clean, with nice balconies. Best location in town!

We have spent 3 nights in Awanahouse in beautiful rooms with much space and perfect facilities. The central location is a big plus but the best part was the amazing staff that was ever so helpful! After a trip to Pai we had one more night in changmai, which we definitely spent in Awanahouse!

First of all stuff is friendly and smiling, rooms are very nicely decorated. Beds are very hard so hard that you can feel pain for few hours after waking up, but on the good side beds are very well build you don't feel they will fall apart. Toilets are small but functional. Rooms without balcony have window on the corridor... More

our family just spent 4 nights at the Awanahouse family room... although a bit tight for 5 of us, it was an AMAZING stay! the staff are super nice and friendly (which is important for us traveling with three kids under 12). The location was simply great - we were in the middle of everything and just off the Sunday... More

Awana house is a small hotel in the old part of Chiang Mai. Tucked away in a small street, there is a lot of privacy. The staff is amazing, they are the kindest people we've seen in Thailand so far. The rooms are decent sized, the matresses are a bit hard, but okay. The bathrooms are dated and mull, but... More
