The Sabaidee Chiangmai Hotel is located in the north of Chiang Mai Old Town. Within 15-20 minutes walking, you reach almost every spot in Old Town. The rooms are clean and really big. We had a room to the back and it was quite quiet. But I think even the rooms to the front should be quiet as well as...

My boyfriend and I had been in Bangkok for about a week before we got to Chiang Mai, and we were having so much trouble finding a decent bed! We went to five different hotels in the area with no luck(beds in Asia are notoriously hard) then we came across a review for this place, saying that the beds were...

Stayed here for 6 nights and loved this place. It was the perfect base for us in chiang mai. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, helped us out a lot during our trip. We stayed in a double room and it was perfect, huge and with excellent facilities. If you are interested in nightlife there is a bar area...

Stayed there for 3 nights and checked out on February 23rd. There were 4 of us (my parents, my best-friend and I) and we booked 2 rooms. Am compelled to write my first review here but waited until now as I wanted to cool down and be fair in my review due to a very bad encounter at this guesthouse....

The guest house is at a great location you can reach everything easily by foot and if not you can simply rent a bike from the guesthouse for 50 baht per day. The rooms come with breakfast which is nice, especially their musli is very good. Rooms are huge and clean and there are extra pillows. Generally the owners are...

The rooms were large and had air conditioning. The TV reception was very poor and no channels worked, there was no safe, but I guess in Chiang Mai this is not really needed. The breakfast is a choice of muesli with yogurt or Bacon & Eggs - the food was good.

Well placed in Chiang mai old town but they need to modernise as the place it's getting old and not as nice as it could be. Mattress is comfortable and rooms have a lot of space. Breakfast was of bad quality and poor in quantity. Not a good value for money but potential is there.

For anyone planning a visit to Chiangmai, I might suggest confirming 1-2 nights lodging and if you are not happy, there are many, many cute, clean, and affordable options available. I knew I was taking a chance with Sawasdee, but I was hopeful. The shower was disgusting (see photos) and the ceiling and walls were filthy. We had a room...

Initially, we were only going to stay here for one night before our jungle trekking adventure. After our first night stay, we decided to book another night when we returned from our trekking adventure b/c we enjoyed our stay so much. The rooms are huge - there is a large bedroom area with a nice bathroom and another little room...
