Normal size room with clean bathroom (minimum toiletries), rain shower (reported hot water issue was promptly fixed), comfortable bed, good air conditioning, friendly & helpful staff. The pool is very small. Very good location on the main road as the night parades during the annual Loy Krathong festivities (during full moon in Nov) pass here. Easy 5 minutes walk to...

Me and my family stayed there for 5 nights and had very bad experience with the front desk staff. The 2 ladies at the front desk in the day were very unfriendly and not helpful when we asked them directions. There's this particular young lady, whom you asked a question and she frown her brows and than tells you 'i...

We booked this hotel from the front desk as we arrived in chaing mai a day early and it was very reasonable. Our room had a balcony which looked out onto the street. It had air conditioning (which is a must) it was very clean. The best bit ( as it was our first night in this city) was the...

We were here for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The most salient impression of The Small was the friendliness of the staff, all of whom went beyond their call of duty to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. A special mention should be given to the lady who is responsible for helping The Small customers book day trips...

Nice modernish rooms with good bathroom, with in room safe. The room also had very little natural light, which for us was good to allow some longer sleeping times. It's location makes it suitable for exploring the night bizarre and is walking distance to the tae pia gate. It is also on the road towards the old city so getting...

I booked into the Small hotel in Chiang Mai on a 6 night stay. The reception and lounge area is modern in appearance but uncomfortable seating. The staff whilst friendly struggled with their English and it was difficult to communicate with them. My room was on the 4th floor, it had a small window and I could open this and...

After the first night, i tried to pay a second night and a different woman was at reception, trying to charge me 1500 baht for the next night. After telling her i paid 1000 the night before and questioning why...

We booked this hotel online, thanks to good reviews. However while arriving, our booking wasn't found and were told we don't have room available. After some friendly negotiations got a free room, which turned out to be a terrible one. Leaking air-con, which made some most terrible noise ever experienced! Was looking for a refreshing moment at the pool, but...
