We had originally wanted to stay at Diva just down the road from TK but they were full. They recommended TK and it was a decent place. We were on the 3rd floor in a fan room. Nothing to do with them, but fan rooms in Thailand just don't cut it for me as I discovered here. But, there was... More

moved from simply room next door to this place and for ½ price you get almost the same but looks like that i got a special deal via booking.com as i had to pay more after staying 1 night at pai (IMHO it should be less because the commission does not have to be paid when booking directly but anyway... Stayed 3 nights at TK guesthouse. The rooms are basic with marks on the walls. However saying that, there is a wardrobe, vanity counter, tv, bed and private bathroom. Room was cleaned with new towels each day. For 350 baht / night that's pretty good! When we first checked in we were shown to a room on the 2nd floor.... More

I think I got quite a good deal for my money. After forgetting that all these travel sites lie and tell you that the rooms are being booked when they are not, or, browsing places a second time to find the price is higher (such awful con really) I paid about 500 per night for a weeks stay here. I... More

Clean, spacious room with everything you need including air-conditioning for a modest price. Good location also! However the mattress was ridiculously hard (I've slept on comfier floors) and the bed sheet was just about big enough for one person let alone two. Finally our room was right next to the gate so everytime someone returned for the night it sounded... More

Best place I've stayed while in Thailand!, I didn't stay in the dorms so can't say about that. We had a triple room at first but the air con was broken so the staff moved us free of charge!, after that we had a fairly large room with a double and single bed. The staff are really helpful one of... More

I was tired of dorm rooms, and this time around in Chiang Mai wanted a little bit of time to myself. Very helpful staff, great aircon, and well you can't beat the price. Working T.V. Great shower in the bathroom. Stayed in a single room on the second floor. The extra bonus - a cute little balcony. It not luxurious... More

I had a private room on the top (4th) floor and I would reccommend as it is cooler. The aircon worked really well and room was pretty spacious. Great location also. Best part was the service downstairs though, they were pretty good with helping me. Nice people.

Note: this review is only for the dorm room portion of TK Guest House, not the hotel rooms. I arrived at TK Guest Hose on Saturday for a two-night stay in Chiang Mai. Upon arrival I was given a towel and a roll of toilet paper, which is a step above most other hostels I have traveled to. However, once... More

Room was well-equipped, working television, air-con, shower, plenty of space, and even a little balcony, although it didn't look out onto much. Good price and location too, my only problem was with the beds! Hard as bricks, the blanket was merely a sheet half the size of the bed too. Apart from that, an affordable and central place to stay.
