Visited this hotel as part of a backpacking trip and stayed for 3 nights. The hotel itself is clean and staff friendly. Pool small but does get sun from midday onwards and pool area quiet enough to sit around and take a quick dip when needed (although water was freezing)! Hotel situated in quiet location with a few bars and restaurants all of which bar one seem to shut up by 11pm so if you want a more lively area then probably not the best unless you head to the other side of town for one or two nights out. Downside about this hotel is it is on the edge of a main busy road and so you can hear the traffic from early morning late into the night (could of been due to the location of the room that we had) but it took some getting used too! And all night there was a loud sound on and off intermittently which must be some kind of generator, which again took some getting used too. By night 3 I think I’d learned to tune both out! Not sure if anyone else would hear the generator from their rooms but I’d imagine so as the whole hotel seem to vibrate! Okay stay but due to the noise wouldn’t stay there again or recommend.

The rooms are quite basic but adequate and include a television. The shower area is nice but hot water is intermittent. The pool area is nice and sometimes guests hang out there. One desk person speaks English well and is very helpful with information and things you might need; the other not so much.

Don't expect 5-star service, But the staff really can help us to book a taxi to airport at 0400 am. It really hard to call transport in the early morning. I really love the simple traditional Thai design. apart from other 2.5-star hotels, the room was really comfortable and clean. Even no catering service, but there are restaurants bar, local market nearby, so convenience, good budget choice at Chiang Mai

This is a great hotel! Having visited CM previously, I chose his hotel due to its proximity to a wide range of food quality bars and restaurants, as well as the price. The hotel is clean, modern with well equipped rooms. There is a pool and charming, friendly staff. There are no room safe’s, however you can leave valuables in a safety deposit box. At night there is a security guard also. I really enjoyed my initial two night stay in this hotel, so I booked again after my return from Pai and will use this hotel as my go-to CM hotel in future. The pool is a little small, however it’s perfect to cool off in. They serve no breakfast here but if they did, it would certainly enhance this charming, well run hotel. The hotel is very quiet at night and I look forward to my next visit here.

In a good location and the room was nice, shower and toilet good, but the bed was a bit disappointing. However the staff were not very accommodating - we purchased breakfast on the first morning, it didn’t cost much but wasn’t great, they advertised the sale of beer from 6 till 12, but when we returned from a few hours of walking at 8 we were told they didn’t sell beer so we went over the road. The final straw was we asked on our first morning if they would book a taxi for our return to the airport, when we checked the evening before it hadn’t been done but they would do it for 500THB. As it cost 150 to travel from the airport we declined, stood outside, stopped a taxi and arranged a pick up for 250Thb. It’s a shame that the staff spoil an otherwise nice hotel.

I planned to stay here 4 nights but after the 2nd night I cancelled the remaining days and went to another hotel. They gave me room 411, which was next to the technical room of that floor, so each hour or something you can hear some machines or motors start running. Lets start with the room: the mattress on the bed is super hard, after the 1th night I had pain in my back. The room has no direct daylight as the windows are colored glass. The 2th day I woke up and the bathroom smelled very dirty but there was no window to open it. When I wanted to took a shower, there was only cold water. Later that day I returned at 18h and wanted to take a shower, but then there was no water at all. So no shower nor toilet. The lady at the reception desk told me the technician was going to handle it in 10 minutes. 3 hours after she told this, there was still no water. In those 3 hours I heard multiple causes (broken pomp, broken boiler, no incoming water). That was it for me, I needed a shower so I decided to cancel my remaining nights and went to another hotel. I advise you to not take this hotel. It might look good on the pictures but go only there if you want pain in your back, no fresh air or light in the room, a smelly bathroom and no water to shower or to go to the toilet. Also, next to this hotel they are building a new hotel which means from 7 AM till 7 PM noise form the construction side. The only good thins about the hotel: cleaning staff did a good job on a daily base and the lady at the reception tries to help.

The price is good and the location is great walking distance to a lots of places to eat and drink. The night bazaar was about 15 mins. The pool area is cute but they only have 2 chairs. The rooms are kinda small, very dated and the WiFi could be stronger. I’d say 3 days is enough here.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 5 nights and the surrounding area is lovely lots of seating and nice pool. Disappointed that the pool gets absoloutley zero sun all day so never really had the chance to enjoy it. The room was smaller than the pictures let on but we only used it to sleep so didn't fuss. Bathroom had a horrible sewage smell on the first night we arrived and last night just before we left. After the second night I woke up with the most horrendous bites (I counted 25) on my arm, I can't confirm if it was the room or not but every night after we had to spray the entire bed with deet to avoid it again. Also if air con goes too low it starts to leak.

Arrived at this hotel and were impressed with the look and feel of it. It is rather close to the main road and you can hear this in bed but not excessively. The room is quite basic but not the most basic I have had. For hot water, turn the left knob in the shower! I missed this one and had cold showers for the first half of the holiday. The beds are very hard, wasn’t a problem but something to just bare in mind if your used to ultra soft at home. The air conditioning is poor, it works but just doesn’t seem to cool the room down at all so expect to wake up sweaty! The bathroom is hot! Keep the doors just because the hot air produced from the air con is pumped into a hatch i the bathroom and leaks in! Cold pool but nice when it’s 40c outside! Breakfast is the best so far whilst in Thailand. And the juice is pineapple and nice even though it looks quite sinister, try it!

Arrived at the hotel and reception took time to find our booking, once we got to our room we found that there is not a lot of hot water for showers. The bedroom is of a good size but the bathroom is very small. The pool is a good size. This hotel does not sell any alcohol but there is a 7/11 across the road. Breakfast is huge and cooked to perfection. If you are looking to book trips the receptionist will help you for no extra charge.
