Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dirty, old and worn. Needs complete renovation. No frills. Spend $10 more a night and get a newer better hotel. Not recommended. Pictures are when place was new. Only good thing was high floors on back have a nice view of mountains. Not a bad location. Near zoo and Maya shopping and CMU.

This is the worst hotel we have ever been to period. Booked 4 nights paid in advance. Stayed one night & left losing all paid for. First night get there supposed to be a Superior Premier room phone etc. No phone ask why ...Oh phones broke to we took out? Next bathroom so dark you need light from your cell phone to see even with both of their lights on. Call support on our phone as room has none..They say yes B2 Black style supposed to be dark??? So dark you need cell phone to shave as you cant see yourself in mirror? Maybe better you dont see because once I used cell phone light I saw a filthy bathroom...I'm not kidding I used my slippers to shower it was that bad...Ok go to sleep maybe tomorrow complain or change room...Sorry no sleeping here with Air con sounding like a freight train + mosquitoes...I guess they like the dark place? Next day we go find a good hotel but do not check out till last day since we don't want them charging another unsuspecting victim on our dime. Avoid this place it is a total sh!t show

Im stay in this place while i have vacation in chiang mai. I have a suite room on the highest floor. The room is so big and very nice. I love the way they decorate the room with all black color. HK staff was very nice. Just the reception desk that i feel like they dont want to serve us. Recommend staff to have more service mind. :)

I am surely guarantee that the price comparing with the facilities are perfectly match. The plus is the staff’s service and performance. The room is big enough for living with the dark theme style. Its call unique and the place is very clean. I will coming back for sure :-) and see you everyone.

The hotel is a bit away from the city, it is highly recommended if you can rent a car or a motorbike or you own one. Most of the travelers staying here are domestic travelers, including me. I was there with my partner (a Luxury Triple room) and my friend and her husband (a Superior Premier room). The rooms were very comfortable and really nice looking. And the view was the best! My Luxury Triple room has a very nice and large balcony. After we checked in, we headed to our rooms. My friend who was staying at a Superior Premier room wanted to upgrade to Triple room because it looked really good, but unfortunately it was fully booked. The price was very cheap compared from what you get from other B2 or budget hotels, especially if you book through the website when they got their room discounted. The staffs were very helpful. There’s also a Thai restaurant right next to the hotel. So you won’t go starving!

This hotel was literally decked out black, very nice the name fits it well. I don’t think this is a family hotel, the rooms have twin beds in them. We came as a family of 4 ... my husband, 15 yr old son and my 1 yr old daughter. The twin beds don’t move together either, we ended up having to get my son his own room. We stayed in the end room and the views were AMAZING with the roosters and all You need a car to get around there was nothing close, the little restaurant next door gets crowded that was a good thing. I enjoyed that action surprisingly.

Inviting set up, but it sits away from most of the action in Chiang Mai, but if you grab a taxi your only 15mins from the action. The rooms were welled designed and furnished with black furniture, I guess thats where the name "B2 Black" comes from. Huge cool window views off into the mountains. The staff was generally nice. The airport is less then ten minutes away. There is a restaurant that's pretty good right next to the hotel. The rooms are very inexpensive compared to booking in Bangkok.

If you are searching for a room with reasonable price, highly recommend here. The room is tidy and clean. When you open the curtain you will see the nice view of the mountain. ONLY one thing customers can get dispointed is you have to 350 for an extra pillow !! That is ridiculous.
